Goodride SA37 Reviews - Page 2

Given 73% while driving a Audi Audi A6 (245/40 R18 W) on a combination of roads for 200 spirited miles
Just bought the tires after having trouble with three sets of Nokian Zline which started cracking just after one summer. I bought these Goodride after reading Autobild review where they got really good review.
I am usually skeptical regarding Asian tires, always went with premium tires but this time I was blown away.

I bought the tires for 52€/tire and I really cant find anything bad with them, they are good in every condition.
My car is tuned and a front wheel drived car which usually tends to swirl and slip during acceleration, but I don't really have a problem with these tires.

Update to my previous comments (at 200 miles) Have had these on the car for about 4500 miles now which has been a mixture of dry, ice, snow and rain.
These are surprisingly good on snow - I was genuinely expecting them to be borderline dangerous but they're pretty well behaved
As good as any other summer tyre on ice (lethal) .
In the wet, these seem to have more grip than they do in the dry.
In the dry, these were excellent when first fitted for the first few thousand miles. They remain good under braking (have never lost grip under braking) but are now prone to spin/squeak/make the traction control lose its mind a fair bit if i need to pull off quickly.

All in all, as good as any other budgets i've run on.

Terrible tyres at any speed. Dangerous in the wet and snow! Replacing ASAP.

Put a set of these on 225/50/17 w extra load - £41 a corner isn't going to get anything better. They went onto the rims better than the evergreens they replaced. Fairly limited mileage thus far, and entirely in wet/very wet. These behave as well as conti sport contact 2s that I used to have thus far, and significantly better than the evergreens. Hopefully they still will once worn in properly. Shall update this once have further feedback.

Great tyre for the £35.00 I spent on them. Couldn't recommend them more.

bought the tyres 2 for the front of my vectra they were a reasonable buy for £44. each but they are now on the limit markers at 8000. miles have had there SV308s and they lasted 15000. miles and still had 2mm legal tread left even though the central of the tyre was balled have had fallen 914s on the front of the same car and they lasted 13000. miles. also GYF1. AS2. that did 15000. Was thinking of putting them on the rear but have changed my mind as they have doubled in price in the last few weeks up to £88. from £44. so will be getting a quality tyre from falken 510. for less money.

Previous set was Hankook V12 Evo tyres. It was pointless to pay 600+eur for those same tyre set again. Goodride version was less than 240 eur the whole set.
At the moment, these tires have not traveled much miles, so they can not judge how fast they wear. I hope, 2 or 3 summers maybe they last (my year km is around 60 000 km) and that should be ok. If less than 2 summers, they would be not as good deal.
But the tires are good, the road feeling is very good, the tires are comfortable and soft, yet they do not sink over (like SUV) and road feedback is great (hoped worse before).
It's good with the rain, as well as curves.
The tire noise is significantly less than that of Hankook (while my car has very good noise insulation + thick glasses) tyres. When before was quiet, than now is very quiet.
At the moment - should I buy them again - yes, Definitely, if they don't wear away less than 2 summers (less than 100 000 km). If they last longer, then yes. Very good large tyre fast 4wd car for Price sensitive customer.

So far, so good, a little noisier than I'm used to but not too bad. Fuel economy seems ok even when towing a caravan. Good grip in wet and dry conditions.
