Given 46% while driving a Honda Civic FD2 (185/55 R15) on mostly country roads for 24,855 average miles
This is the worst tires I used so far, besides what provided by car manufacturer. Its loud and noisy, while cornering I can feel the tires pulling the steering inwards or pushing the car out depends on left or right turn. Maybe because of its asymmetric design and it make the car unpredictable especially when in wet road. It wears uneven even though rims, balancing, alignment and camber are in good condition. Sidewall are too soft and need to pump more air pressure to make it less wobbly. With treadwear rating 320 it only lasted a year, worst than my previous R1R with lower treadwear rating but still can get 3 years with it. My previous tires were Parada Spec 2, R1R, T1R, AD08R, and currently with RE004.

Very grippy tyres in the wet and dry. No traction issues no matter how hard driven. Great resistance to aquaplaning, I felt very safe driving in all weather conditions. A very firm ride so comfort levels are not upto some peoples standards. The main downfall is the wear level. 5 months of use, 11,000 miles of rather spirited driving in a remapped 210bhp seat leon tdi and they are at their end of life. Would I purchase again? Absolutley! Another set are on their way!

Dry grip is great, more than enough for what you want to do with cornering in a road car.
Wet grip and handling is good while still being able to take corners at considerable speeds without having to worry about sliding, performance noticeably degrades from about 30% of the tread depth remaining.
Wear rate is surprisingly impressive, even after 10,000 miles of use it looked as if the tyres didn't wear a bit. A lot better than the B-RE003 that were on previously.
Comfort is fairly good when it's new due to the softer sidewalls, however noise does begin to amplify after it passes its presumably half-life along the way.
Changing from the Bridgestone Potenza Adrenalin RE003 to the TR1s, at first impression it felt like it didn't have as much bite as the drive would feel like you're dancing in and out of a turn. After getting used to it or having gone through the wear in period it felt great to drive on. At about 10% of tread left before the wear indicator on all 4, the main bug is the noise. Still handles like a charm, gotta slow a little around the water.
Contemplating on another set or the Bridgestone latest RE004 for the next.

Great tires to begin with. good grip, comfy and wet performance is good. but after sometime, the noise level is very irritating. the car sounds like broken wheel bearing. it can make long journey so stressful. had to turn up the radio volume. other than that. its a very good tire. I used it for about 20,000km and the tread is still a lot. but had to change to other brand because of the noise level. now running Michelin PS4.

Bought these to replace my worn out T1R's, which were very good on the TF. Went with the TR1's (T1R's no longer available), hoping they would be as good as the tyres they were replacing (despite different tread pattern). Had these on about a year now and they are a very good match for the MGTF, great on the day to day stuff and even ok when used on a competitive HillClimb. Grip in the dry is impressive for a normal road tyre, progressive at the limit, complementing the cars handling.

Tl;dr the TR1 is truly a valid tyre, especially considering how fairly they are priced. To get in more detail, I recommend them because of the great price/performance ratio: I now have the Michelin PS3 that are a bit better grip-wise, but at a certain cost (440€ vs 250€ for the set) and I didn't notice critical flaws on the Toyos: to be picky they may not satisfy the most aggressive or skilled driver, since at the limit they are balanced toward a safe but quite understeery behaviour, which is more noticeable on wet surfaces. In general, I'd say they work a better on dry conditions, since they are more progressive: while being far from being dangerous, on wet surfaces they were a tiny bit more snappy on the reactions. Comfort and noise levels were good. Also, they lasted quite a bit for my standard and until the end they maintained good levels of grip, which is surely a thing to keep in mind. Can't talk about a very long time period (1 year), so I didn't test how the compound reacted over ageing, but I can say that intense use did not have an effect on the grip levels: even after they went through some intense heat-cycle during a track day (something that basically killed the grip on other tyres I had in the past) they were fine.

Superb tyre. Feel confident around the corner and braking. Very comfortable around bumps and uneven road. Not sure about the wear and tear as it is still new. The fuel efficiency also yet to be reviewed.

I've had these tyres for 5 months and in that time I have done a fair bit of backroad driving, I wouldn't say they are going to change the tyre world with a cheap performance tyre but I would say paired with coilovers its a very good cheap combo, I recently did a video and I did a bit of b road driving, to say I took some tightish corners at the national speed which shows I have the confidence in these tyres, there was a little bit of understeer but nothing crazy and you could hear struggling at some points but for the price what can you expect. in the wet I don't drive like I normal do, I don't have the faith in the wet, might be personal preference. I have had no problems with wear so cant comment on that, the tyres are comfortable but im on coilovers and very low so doesn't help

Previously my car had a set of Landsail LS588, for 2 years then decided to upgrade. The best for my Proton Satria Neo so far.

At first i was going for PS4 or the MC6, but with the covid19, budget is quite tight. I went for the TR1 because of the price and love the tread pattern. Seriously, i have not regret it ever since. Dry grip is superb. Wet grip is also nice, no more skidding like my previous pirelli p7. Comfortable and i dont notice any extra noise from the tires as well. No hydroplane. No problem handling my 2.0 turbo hatchback. I would definitely buy these tires again. Good price, superb performance. kudos to Toyo.
