I have driven around 10k km on these tyres and I have mixed feelings. GOOD: - very good dry grip - tyres are really quiet - decent handling and road feedback - perfect price BAD: - average wear - everything gets worse when it starts raining, tyres have absolutely no grip o wet! (compare to other tyres I had like Dunlop Bluresponse or even very average Bridgestone Turanza ER300) - surprisingly when it rains more they have good aquaplaning resistance NOTE: - based on size they can be made in Slovakia, France, Germany etc. I have feeling that those from Western Europe are different, my parents in law have 205/55/16 from Germany and when you touch the rubber it feels different

Driving on mostly country roads for 750 spirited miles
These are definitely the worst tires I have ever had. My original tires were Kumho and they were ok but are not available in Ecuador in this size. Generally, there is very limited variety here in this format.
So, I went for Kenda. From first impression, the tire was bad. The car is very sloppy, the side wall of the Kenda seems to be extremely soft. The car drives as is the shock absorbers are worn out. The car has 20.000 km, so that is not the case, also it was driving fine before the tyre swap.
On dry road it's ok but as soon as the road is a bit moist, it is really dangerous. Ecuador mainly has country roads with a lot of turns, up and downhill. This morning I was on a fast section downhill were there was a little bit of water running over the road in a bend. I almost spun the car. It was so scary. I have driven a lot of cars and tyres and have to say that these tyres are useless, unless you are only driving low speeds in the city.

Second set in a row I have purchased on the front of my Front wheel drive 7 seater. I again bought the XL tyres as they ride speed ramps a lot smoother and of coarse the added safety of being Reinforced and were a similar price to the non XL version .Very responsive but you would expect from new tyres ,but a very comfortable tyre all round and with a good wet rating. I got around a years driving on the front set which is about 14,000 miles after changing before they were down to the minimum with possibly around 3 times that distance on the rear set . My rear tyres are still running the original Mich Prim HP's it came with , the car is 4 years old and done 42000 odd miles.I purchased online cheaper with an online tyre seller who sends them to a local fitters for fitting. I found there was a good quality to price to safety ratio so bought again.

Good Grip in wet whilst pushing car on the straight and round roundabouts as expect with a premium tyre. Wear very well ... I recently choose the 'B' wet and 'C' rated fuel efficiency/ rolling residence over the newer 'A' Wet , 'B' fuel and I found the newer formula Tyres do not last as long?
