Hyundai elantra Tyre Review Highlights

Writing about the Norauto Prevensys 4 given 87% (195-60-15-)
Driving on a combination of roads for 20000 average miles
Excellent tire. In the rain, the water flow is impressive. Dry is also good.

My mother just had these put on six weeks ago. She had two flat blown tires in the last three weeks. Never a problem before this.

Currently at about 60,000km on these tyres bought during Feb 2021. Observed slight cracks along sidewall. 2 of my tyres not rotating straight during balancing. Mechanic feedback another tyre seems to be slightly off shape. Didn't really really have the chance to stress test the tyres but dry grip is ok. Wet grip was still alright but there was once I e-brake during a rainy day at about 60-70km/h, my car skidded. I think there are better tyres out there there with better price. I don't recommend these tyres.

My tire was made in France because my market has the same model tire but made in Poland, the tire has good quite sound, response and handling is really amazing. Comfort is good but not better. The best thing in this tyre is response and handling "10/10".

Writing about the Kumho Winter Craft WP52 given 60% (225-45-17-)
Driving on mostly country roads for 8000 average miles
Good dry handling and traction, average wet and below expectations on snow as for a winter tyre. Noise depends a lot on tyre pressure

Driving on a combination of roads for 0 spirited miles
After almost 2,000 km in a 130 CV Hyundai Elantra, my impressions differ little from those previously mentioned. Correct grip in the dry, very good in the wet (the more water there is on the road, the better they are). What I like least is that the sidewall is too soft compared to my previous Hankooks, hence its good comfort but little information about what happens between the tires and the asphalt. In short, a correct tire in the dry (without sporting pretensions) and very, very good in extreme rain. I ride them because I got them at a very good price and the duration does not matter to me because I do 6000 km a year.

Put these onto Elantra 1.6 for 34,000km. At 15,000km front tyres start to show signs of high wear as compared previous Nexen which lasted for 50,000 still with some thread. Ok for the price, didn’t fail me before. (On wet max 100km/hr; dry 140km/hr) suitable for low mileage, daily drive. Not recommendable for frequent road trip drivers.

I've been with them for about 1000 kms and the first impressions are: Very comfortable and low noise tire. The side is somewhat soft, hence the comfort but at the cost of sacrificing feedback a bit. Good dry grip but not a sports tire at all. In the wet I have had little opportunity to test them but the little that I have tried them without problems in the absence of being able to test them in extreme rain which I think is the specialty of these tires. I decided on them because I found them at a very good price, 83 euros per tire mounted and balanced in size 225/45/17 94XL Y and I use the car much more in winter than in summer because I have a motorcycle. I will post impressions later.

I had Hyundai Elantra 2020 I just fitted those tyres today , i had continental cc6 before Once i drove my car with the new ones on the start with slow speed i was amazed with its quietness and ease of handling but as i left the city and drove on the highway and just approached just above 60 miles the sound of the tyres was very annoying It was a frustrating experience to me since i look for a quiet smooth and fast ride but with those horrible tyres it is just like a nightmare to me a loud rigid knocking like sound I'm not sure what to do next But i never ever buy hankook tyres again

These tires were OEM on my new Hyundai Elantra sedan when I bought it in January 2015. They have 17k miles on them and the tread is very low. They drive ok on dry pavement and the wet drip is ok for light to moderate rain. They are noisy. These tires do not age well. I will be buying a different brand in about 2k miles.
