Driving on a combination of roads for 6000 spirited miles
I'm on a kawasaki zx9r and I've gone to these tyres following three sets of the storm 2 ultras, mileage on both have been similar between 5-7000, 7000 if you stick to back lanes and twisties, I take these tyres right to the edge within the first hundred miles on a dry road, I've done the NC500 in pouring rain three times, one of those the water was actually bouncing inches off the road it was that heavy and the tyre never flackered even at 80+ mph so god knows what the rest of these people expect from a tyre in the wet. I've had the majority of makes over the years on this bike and others over 750 cc and once these are warm they stick like s*it to a blanket at any speed, I also ride throughout the Winter and though they do take longer to reach temperature the only slide I've had was in dodging a pullout not a mile from my home as I momentarily locked up the back end, the car braked and stopped right in front of me as I slithered into it till releasing both brakes and swerving around the guy. I have years of experience, was a dispatch rider for in London for several of those, I don't hang about in any conditions and for an all round winter summer sports/tourer tyre these are phenomenal on this size/weight of bike. I notice the whiners on here were on lardarse busa's and what I would call an 'adventure' bike, no these tyres very likely didn't suit an off road machine pootling along and not getting warm or an overweight fugly and anyone comparing a bridgestone to these is out of their depth, get your suspension set up properly and ride it like you nicked it and these are top totty.

Driving on mostly country roads for 3000 spirited miles
I bought these for my zx9R 02 as I commute 100 miles each day when the weather is ok. The tires are incredibly in the wet and you feel like you can ride as if in the dry. The only issue has been the life compared to the Dunlops that were on the bike previously and the price for two tires. Difficult to justify the extra when other brands last longer unless I am always riding in the rain when they are paramount for safety. If you ride at weekends only then these are great, but commuting kills them fast even though I use a very twisty route every day with less than 10% of dual carriage way.

Driving on mostly country roads for 100 spirited miles
I bought these for my zx9r E2 and have only done 100 miles which I commute every day cross country on great biking A and B roads. When I rode out of the garage to start the scrub process they were actually twitchy for the first 30 miles like riding on ice. By 50 miles they felt normal but contiuned the scrubbing process. By 100 miles the confidence already feels very high but I can already feel that the grip in wet and dry due to conditions (fog, rain and dry intermittent patched) that they are truly planted. I cannot comment on lifing yet or the progressive limit but they feel very comfortable and absorb the poor UK road conditions well. I am hoping they last well but that is also down to how much right hand you dial in. Will keep you up dated. Not the cheapest but having been around the Conti factory as an Engineer visiting they are made in germany and the quality of finish is excellent. The rear tire required no weights it was perfect of a bike having done 20K miles. only 8grams on front so something they are doing is making them precise.
