Land Rover Range Rover Classic Tyre Review Highlights

Driving on a combination of roads for 3000 easy going miles
Very tough tires. I have been extremely happy with them over the 3000 miles I have put on them. I have ONE big issue though, they suck in the sand. Doesn't matter how low you go with pressure, they just dig and dig and dig into the sand. It is for this reason that I have to find another tire. Great otherwise on rocks in Moab, washboard in Death Valley and dirt and mud elsewhere. Drove all the way to Moab from Los Angeles in the a thunderstorm for several hours and now issues at all. Always felt stable. And this is in a 1993 Range Rover.

Driving on mostly country roads for 10000 average miles
Very nice looking and great performing tyres. I got 4 for my Range Rover almost 1 year driving. Tread wear is minimal, I’ve just rotated them and would expect maybe 30,000km or more. Good mileage for a not very expensive tyre. They perform really well, good comfort and road holding on corners. Not noisy at all, in fact I think they’re quieter than the Goodyear’s they replaced. Fuel consumption hasn’t increased or decreased since I changed them either which I’m happy with. Great value all round.

Norway, Arctic Russia, Siberia, Kazakhstan steppe...all in winter, these tyres managed everything I threw at them...only had to go to chains in the deepest off-road snow...Noisy on the tarmac but then my truck is modified with little soundproofing...Handled the sand and stone of the central deserts of Syria, Turkey, and Jordan's Wadi Rum easily...mud and wet sand with ease...My truck is for expeditions first, road driving second so I can't say whether they would be any use on a suburban SUV but if you want a 30% road 70% off-road tyre...then this beats all comers.

Instant effect from the change to these tyres (Fulda Road tryes before). Tried to get Michelin Synchrome but they are no longer made. Found these tyres tyres to be even better and very well priced at ?70 each from Black Circles.
Use some McGuerriers tyre shine and they look wicked too.

They are road biased tyres but they can go off road too ( a bit).

Excellent tyre.
Not sure about wear yet as only had them on for a 1000 miles and they are still nobbly.
