Mercedes Benz Brabus Tuned Tyre Review Highlights

Writing about the Bridgestone Weather Control A005 given 44% (250-35-18-)
Driving on mostly motorways for 10000 spirited miles
Fitted these to my C350 Brabus D6. They are terrifying on a higher powered car, granted 700nm takes some containing for any tyre but these are scarily easy to break away with very little effort in the dry or wet.

I cannot recommend them, they will be gone very soon.

Driving on a combination of roads for 15000 spirited miles
I just arrived back home from visiting my cousin in Munich and we drove to Spain to spend some time at his holiday house. The drive to Spain was very entertaining. He drives a Brabus tuned Mercedes with a 650hp V12 and he uses the new Michelin PS2 tires. From Munich we encountered alot of cold and wet driving conditions and the tires exhibited very impressive traction under those condtions. With temperatures only a few degrees above freezing, we were still able to take corners at break neck speeds, and accelerate hard with only minimal tire spin. As we continued on our trip the tires showed that they are very suitable for long distance driving by being smooth and quiet. Even on the rain soaked autobahn the tires were easily capable of driving safely at speeds over 260kph. But it should be noted that German highways are built with such high quality standards which makes it possible to drive safely at such high speeds.

As we got closer to Spain, the weather began to improve and temperatures began to rise, the tires grip also improved. Hard cornering is no problem for these tires. Accelerating to 100 kph in well under 4 seconds seemed too easy. On one stretch of highway in Spain we got the Benze up to 320 kph and again the car remained very stable and smooth. Never in my life have I driven so fast and at those speeds the scenery whips by so fast that your brain almost does not have time to realize what just passed by. A tire has to be built very good to handle such speeds and its understanding why the Michelin PS2's are expensive. All that R&D does not come cheap, and the tires are built in France where factory workers are paid considerably more than in the U.S. and Asia.

So after that experience, when my Kumho's wear out (also great tires) I am getting me a set of PS2's! Is it any wonder these tires come standard equipment on some of the most amazing super cars on the planet. Including the new Bugatti Veyron with 1000hp, 0-100 in 2.6 seconds and a top speed of 406kph!
