My ex wife had 4 of these these fitted to my car and increased my life insurance, needless to say when it rains these tyres are deadly. If you value life pay another £40 per tyre

Tires are quite grippy at first glance, live in Malta, roads here are horrible, muddy and full of holes, tires seem to cope quite good!!!
had them for a couple of months and normally you slip in a couple of corners, not these tires, I am quite surprised!!!!
Definitively will buy again!!!

Decent tire for the price. Held up for 4 years... never noticed any dangerous characteristics. Great in snow!

I bought these tyres Nov 2013 ready for winter (I have had winter tyres etc before so I can compare against Vredestein Wintracs which were great).

These were nothing but dangerous as soon as temperature got over 8C which during this winter was a lot of the time. The back of the car would totally lose traction at 15mph on a roundabout. It left me facing the wrong way twice! Once coming off a fast motorway slip road.

I was in scotand over christmas and in snow they were very good BUT given the UK winters I would never buy these or even put them back on my car. I will be putting them on Ebay.

If you live in a country with guaranteed snow and permanently cold temps then I am sure they are great but if not avoid them.

Having driven these tyres to the limit for the past 6 months and previously rolled on sport contact 3's I can honestly say I have never seen the ESP light flash as much when cornering with the goodyear eagles, at times it feels like your driving in trifle. From a sporting perspective, compared to the sport contact 3, they have excellent wet grip but feel spongey. Now, if you want a comfortable drive, good fuel economy and a very quiet ride and good wear too, then the goodyear win hands down. But on a Merc C-Class sport 206bhp they just don't feel right.

Very please with Sport 5 .... until this weekend. On Saturday replaced two front tyres on Mercedes C Estate after one burst in sidewall after very low speed impact (no more than 10mph) with kerb. One replacement blew out after 15 miles. No similar accidental impacts.

I have had two tyre wall failures and a third tyre is going back for a safety inspection. Already received one refund from Kumho because of outer wall de-laminating from inner wall. Second tyre had blow out to wall on M25 whilst in lane 3. My wife managed to keep control of our car and get to the emergency lane. Breakdown service attended and said the wall had failed on the tyre which was less than a year old. Third tyre showing early signs of wall failure impending. I hope I am wrong because I like these tyres but not if the walls are going to keep failing. These wall failure have occured or two different vehicle, alltyres were correctly inflated and had no puncture repairs. Other brands of tyres on the same cars have not had wall failures. Steve

In the snow last December in Scotland they were worth every penny, and again February this year 2012 in the south of the country. Would have been stuck without them
