Mercedes Benz C250 2012 Tyre Review Highlights

Writing about the Michelin Pilot Sport 5 given 96% (225-45-17-)
Driving on a combination of roads for 4000 spirited miles
I was on edge between PS5 and GoodYear Assmyetric 6... GY was cheaper, but I couldn't resist not having PS5 sidewall on my car.... Around 4k miles in, I cannot describe how much I love this tyre... Previous owner of car fitted Primacy 4, which were great, but PS5 is in class of its own...

I personally was not able to find limit of this tyre to this point in both dry or wet, and I drive rather hard... Once I go to right this set, I will get them again without any hesitation

Driving on a combination of roads for 10000 easy going miles
Recently installed in my Mercedes C250, replacing Michelins, honestly i don't feel any big difference in the drive quality.

Comfort is very good
Noise is also very low
So far no complain on the grip

I would definitely buy them again.

Driving on mostly town for 1118 average miles
I'm a Malaysian driver driven on PS 3 for quite awhile. I'm somewhat disappointed on the PS3. It is not made for rough roads especially in the place i live in finding a perfect stretch of road is just though luck. In about a year I've blown 2 sets of tires simply due to potholes and its been costing me a lot of money. On rough unpaved roads the tires get chipped out like crazy due to soft tire compound or sth. In conclusion, PS3 is an amazing tire for speeding on highways but if you live in a place where road quality is just horrible or on unpaved roads just stay away from these tyres.

Look the internet and you will find many posts from"boys", or "kid racers" telling of their sheer disgust that these tyres and not brand named.

Fools they are!

Just stuck a set of these on my 2012 E220 and am well impressed. My last set, pilot 2s did not have the same grip new! They also lasted only 13 months and 12000 miles!

I already predict longer mileage from these

Good sticky tyre but only lasted 8000 miles on front of a rearwheel drive car. Wouldn't buy again only due to not lasting very long at all
