Mitsubishi Lancer EX 2.0 GT Tyre Review Highlights

Writing about the Petlas Velox Sport PT741 given 83% (225-45-18-)
Driving on a combination of roads for 100 average miles
I bought 4 tires about a week ago for 300$, I could have spend less by buying cheap Chinese tires for 40$ or 50$ per tire, but I chose to give Petlas a try and I think that was a very good choice. The handling on the road was great as I drove it with high speeds (around 140-160KM/H) and you could feel the grip of the tires like they're stuck on the ground. Money/Value wise is definitely good and I recommend you to give it a try.

Driving on a combination of roads for 25000 average miles
After almost 40,000km daily drive(25,000miles) its still look okay(Treadwear420) maybe can go for another 10,000-20,000km

Previously i use Primacy 3 - but its lose grip and loud noise just after 15,000km and i get rid of it after 25,000km(3yr) due to low confident on wet grip, loud noise and bad road feedback

compare to this CF2 -
grip and handling - better than Primacy 3 and after 40,000km still feel almost same as first 10,000km
noise - i have good quiet ride untill around 25,000km after that its still acceptable level

overall - very happy with performance, comfort, noise and price

sadly i heard CF2 are about replaced by next generation and my local dealer dont have them stock anymore
so, have no choice but go after Primacy 4/ PS4 / Conti PC orUC6

Writing about the Yokohama Advan dB V552 given 73% (205-60-16-V)
Driving on mostly town for 1000 average miles
I replaced these tyres for my previous factory fitted yokohama A460. After 60,000 km. I put V552 for 8,000km. The new tyre is very comfortable and silent. For over 120 km/h the tyres feel floating, changing lane at that speed is not sharp as my old tyres. However with lower speed thay gave a very smooth turning, comfort and quiet. If you want to made these tyre more rigid in high speed, just increase 3-4 psi pressure, the firmness is more recieved and the floating appearance disappear. For wet situation, aquaplanning is moderate.

These tyres came as stick on my Lancer Ralliart in 2014. rotated only about 3 times max, i should've do 2 times more. but anyways. The front tyre's outside tread, all gone. thats only at 24000K driven. Mostly australian Town road. occasionally I go for bit of fast driving for the feel of push against the seat. I also go corners bit fast, probably 50% of the time. Thats probably why it wears out on the outside mostly. the inner and centre tread still got maybe 4-5mm left ( front two) the rear two goes normal so far but the outside tread has started to show signs of uneven wear, need an alignment...anyways, Dry grip are very good. Wet grip, scared me by surprise. In a rainy day or non raining but just wet/oil (standard Aussie town's tarmac road), it looses it. When I tried to turn corner after stopping, Fish tail the car, going like a snake pattern. lucky there was no car nearby. This is after I have the car for about 2 month. The road noise just terrible over all. Im not sure whether its due to Mitsubishi general poor road/cabin noise isolation or just the tyre itself. the Vibration, the hash ride, the coarse feeling while driving, the noise from tyre or the road, Im glade now its due for a change. I just ordered the KU39, Reviews and suggestions from friends have been good. I will test it out soon and make a review on that tyre. I would genuinely advise people to avoid the A10 tyre. they are ok when new, not so great when worn down.

I am an Australian living in Thailand and these tyres came fitted as standard on my Mitsubishi Lancer GT. I am not looking for sports car performance, but know the need for safety at speed. The road holding is very impressive and we felt safe at all times in all conditions. However the noise and harshness of these tyres was very bad. Any journey greater than an hour and everyone suffered bad aches. The wear was impressive though....50,000kms. And Thailand roads are unforgiving. Some areas have nice highway style driving, but most areas are B roads at best. I used this website to review tyres when I needed to change. I was hoping to move away from Yokohama altogether. However sourcing alternate tyres for my Lancer locally proved frustrating. Reluctantly I chose Yokohama Advan dBs. To my delight these tyres are sensational. The same road holding with great comfort and low noise. Now I just hope to get as much life from them as the previous.

This is my review after 2 months usage. Great grip on both dry and wet roads. As this is a performance based tires, noise is higher but acceptable. As for the rest, gotta use for another period of time for further review.

Driving on mostly country roads for 28000 average miles
Very suprised at just how well these tyres preformed, The first thing i noticed was that they were much quiter that the goodyears that were on before them. The grip they offer in both wet and dry is as good as any top brand tyre I have ever used. I have done 25K driving on these tyres (50% B-Road 40% A-Road and 10% moterway) and expect to nearly get 30K KM from them. I will def fit these tyres again and highly recommend them.
