Mitsubishi Lancer estate 1.6 16v Tyre Review Highlights

Writing about the Momo 4run M4 All Season given 74% (225-45-17-)

Tried this tyres in two sizes. First was 225/45 R16 which was better and second 205/60 R16. Didn't tried them on snow but however dry grip is good, wet grip... Well running on a highway it's ok but on dirty city roads sometimes become slippery, ESP says hello, but nothing terrible. For those who are searching for a reliable tyre and don't wanna spend too much this is the right one. Also you can make with them a zillion kilometres.

Writing about the Vredestein Quatrac 5 given 93% (195-60-15-H)
Driving on a combination of roads for 500 easy going miles
Changing from a summer tyre (Vredestein Sportrac5) to these on the front of my Lancer here in the UK has changed the way I drive my car. First impressions after only a few hundred miles are, the steering feels lighter and these tyres for an all season tyre in my size are very quiet on the road. Only 1 drawback with this type of tyre is lateral grip, they are never going to perform like a summer tyre like the Sportrac5 but you dont buy this type of tyre for hooning around !

Hopefully after some bad weather (snow & ice) I can give a further review at a later date but for now i am happy with my new Quatrac 5 tyres.

Bought these after having to fit 2 Barums as a bit of an emergency ( these are now on the rear of the car ) because of a puncture which could not be repaired.
I generally fit a set of all season tyres (Vredestein Quatrac) for use in the winter to the front of my car and swap back and forth summer and winter so am familiar with the brand and the overall quality of the product.
Back to the Sportrac 5 ! I have these on the front of my car and have been excellent in all conditions except for winter as we have not really had a 'winter' yet for the last few years in the UK.
The reason for giving a 10 on wear is that they will wear out before the tyre gets old and sidewalls/tread starts cracking/perishing so you actually get to use the life of the tyre before you have to bin them.
Vredestein as far as I'm concerned is the best brand you have never heard of until now ! Top quality tyre, reasonable price, looks good, go buy a set !

The local tyre dealer recommended these when I went to replace the Lassa tyres I had on the front of my Lancer. With a better wet braking distance than the Lassa's they replaced for the same money I decided to try them. They list them as Green Max rather than Ling Long Green Max presumably to stop people thinking they're buying Chinese ditch finders. When I realised I'd they were Chinese I thought I'd made a big mistake but after a wet winter's driving I was wrong - they are great in the wet! I'd been happy with the Lassa's but these have much more grip in the wet when you chuck it into a bend or a roundabout, no hint of understeer at all. I'd but them again!
