Renault Megane II Break 1.5dCI 105Hp Tyre Review Highlights

Writing about the Michelin Primacy 4 given NAN% (195-65-15-V)
Driving on a combination of roads for 0 spirited miles
Recently purchased four Primacy 4 to substitute 4 Dunlop Sport Bluresponse, which were down to 2mm in 28.000 miles (45.000 km), permutations included. I live in Spain and my driving is about 20 miles (30 km) a day from the city towards an industrial area. My other option was the Goodyear Efficientgrip Performance 2, but an offer for the same price made me choose the Primacys. I was surprised as I checked the initial depth at about 6.5mm in the center channels and slightly less, about 6,2mm, in the outer channels. I just hope they last longer than the previous. They are made in Poland, weeks 10 and 11, so just before this virus disaster.

Driving on a combination of roads for 8700 spirited miles
Been driving them for 2 winters for around 14000 km-8700 miles. Thread left is 5mm, so for another winter. Drive is great, when new there was a little wobble in corners, now there great,,, good on snow, especialy good on wet road. Will buy again even thou i think the wear is avarage.

Driving on a combination of roads for 500 easy going miles
Now driving with this set of Tires and very happy with them.
Not yet any view on wear but it seems to be good.
Had some continentals before and these are equal but cheaper, also my thoughts are they are less noisy than the continentals I had before.

Writing about the Continental WinterContact TS 860 given 80% (195-65-15-T)
Driving on a combination of roads for 3750 spirited miles
Loved the tyre until I measured it after winter, in 6000 kilometers profile of the tire droped 4milimeters. True it was a warm winter with half of kilometers being on highway. I calculate the tyre will be functional for just another winter. Tyre is superb in all conditions, wet, snow, but weares realy fast.

Writing about the Pirelli P 7 given 86% (205-55-15-T)
Driving on a combination of roads for 7000 spirited miles
dry grip was fine when i got them to the right presure, the tire loses some air over a month but the bigger isue is gasoline stores air presure service, they vary form place to place, finaly got them to 2.4bar and it transform the ride,,,

wet grip is good but a bit neurvous, like the man said before me "when u learn the limites of the tire they install a lot of confidence", and the thing to consider is I live in a cold area(15-20 celcius in the sumer rain) with very curvy road and i read somewere "they like to be hot",,,

the bad - no made in county, spec
-litle tire presure lose over a period of a month

the good - litle wear
- pushed to top speeds regulary on motorway, only in the wet they need reserv( cca 100-130km/h)

Writing about the Nankang NS2 given 93% (205-40-17-W)
Driving on a combination of roads for 40 spirited miles
I had a set of these on my Megane II, got a whopping 40,000 miles from them, so impressed with them, I have fitted them on my reverse trike, that accelerates from 0-60 in 3.5 secs, and corners with 1.4 lateral G, these tires are brilliant, maybe not as great in the wet, but really not too bad at all, I certainly felt safe in a corner wet or dry. Generally, slow down for corners whatever tires you are using, its just common sense.......

Writing about the Nexen N6000 given 94% (205-50-17-W)
Driving on mostly country roads for 621 average miles
After reading many reviews, I chose to buy the Nexen, and I'm completely satisfied. Having done 1000Km the tire is exactly what we were looking for, a tire but not too soft, comfortable, no noise and we do not create surprises especially in the wet. Previously had a SV308 West Lake and the difference is huge. The value for money is really huge.

Driving on a combination of roads for 600 average miles
Well, after 2 sets of Conti's PremiumContact this are my first Toyo's. For now, I passed 1000 kms, and must say wet grip is excelent, as I live in a heavy rain region this is very important for me. Dry grip is excellent also. Only thing I noticed is they are a little bit to noisy, but maybe it's because they are new...

Writing about the Firestone Winterhawk 2 EVO given 81% (225-45-17-)
Driving on mostly motorways for 20000 average miles
A very balanced tyre and very good for her price. The only thing that don't like at them is the wet grip...I lose the confidence with this tyres when the road is wet, but in the rest all the things are ok. Life time is very good also and please take into consideration that I use this tyres in Romania where the roads are not good at all...
