Have a set of these on a Seat Exeo 2.0 TDi re-mapped to 184BHP. Wheel spins in the wet pulling out of concealed juntions as do all tyres since the remap, but the grip is good overall both wet and dry. £180 a set so four tyres for the price of two! 9000 Miles and it's time to rotate back/front.... but even if I don't it;s only £90 for two new ones fitted. These are great VFM and worth a try as they might not work well on all vehicles, these worked for me though on my SEAT similar to A4. Verry Happy,

Driving on mostly motorways for 7000 average miles
Had a pair fitted to the front of my Exeo. Always gone for cheap tyres as I mainly trundle up and down the motorway, but these cannot be recommended. Initially thought they were fine, but less than 6 months later, loads and loads of tread left and the side walls have given up. Been to have balancing checked today and told both tyres need replacing due to side walls on inside. Tyres are at recommended pressure, but tyre company blaming low pressure! Never had this issue before, and tyre company not interested. Won't be using this tyre company again, and will never touch AAA tyres on any vehicle! Waste of cash.

Driving on a combination of roads for 16000 spirited miles
Brilliant! Best tyres I've ever bought. Both wet and dry grip is superb, even now the fronts are down to 3mm. The wear rate is good too. 16k miles from the front set and the rears are still on 6mm. Ive just ordered another two for the front. I do a combination of motorway and country roads (quickly when circumstances allow) in all weathers and I have not had cause to worry about the performance of these Avons at any time. They obviously suit my SEAT Exeo ST TDI 170 CR Sport Tech with its 170 bhp turbo diesel and stiff suspension. AND they are made in the UK! Whats not to like?

Driving on mostly country roads for 14000 spirited miles
Good performance tyre that grips well in all conditions but they only lasted 14000 miles on the back of my front wheel drive car. This can't be down to misalignment as the car was put on a Hunter machine as soon as they were fitted. The previous rear tyres were the original Conti SportContact 2 and they lasted 4 years and 40k. I rarely carry passengers and the boot is empty 99% of the time. My car is pretty much an Audi A4 Avant B7 so if you have one of these or anything heavier, avoid them as they are far too soft.

Have done 1000 miles on these now. Replaced Dunlop Sport Maxx's and very pleased. Would echo a previous reviewers comments abuot slightly softer sidewalls being noticeable in hard corners at first but you soon adjust to the slightly different feel. Unbelieveable in the wet! and given the summer we're having that's definitely a good thing! Definitely in my list of tyres to buy again.
