Subaru Levorg 1.6 gt s Tyre Review Highlights

Easy to damage. I do a lot of kms and never had a tyre so easy to damage with the exception of Kapsen cheap garbage.
I was sold these with the promise of getting a lot of mileage I wouldn’t know about that because they burst or have severe sidewall damage with fairly minor hits. I’ve damaged a third tyre. The grip I would say is very average. I’m surprised others are saying it’s good. Rather than replace the one that popped I’m getting all four relatively new tyres stripped off and changed back to Goodyear Eagle F1, which are better in all respects.

Great mid tear tyre. Road noise is good and wet and dry performance is good as well. Confident under breaking and turning in the wet. Slightly narrow tyre than competitors, so you may want to bump up the width if the look is something youre after as well.

Driving on a combination of roads for 2000 average miles
I was recommended these over the Nexen AU5 tyre and was told they were better quality. In the dry they are fine and are actually quite quiet but as soon as there is any sign of moisture the Premiorri Solazo S Plus are outright dangerous. Progress from a damp road, to mild rain right up to heavy rain they just get progressively more and more dangerous. One slow to mid corners in anything but dry conditions your car will slip or over steer and I had the rear end of my Subaru kicking out like it was RWD. Avoid these tyres like the plague.

Writing about the Bridgestone Potenza RE050A given 77% (225-45-18-V)
Driving on a combination of roads for 6000 spirited miles
Comes standard with the car and provide superb feel and handling in both dry and wet. Tire is harsh and transmit all bumps and road irregularity into the cabin, likely due to the low profile ratio. Tire wears off very fast, and less than 10K km it is at 50% or less.

LIkely buy again, as the tires matches the car performance - almost no drama (read: boring) drive across mountainous winding road... no screeching, no sign of losing grip...
