Scary, scary tyres..... changed from Michelin PS2's these tyres never felt right. Annoyingly wore well, partly because I was scared to put any power through them. Totally non progressive after the PS2.
Ruined my driving experience.

These were fitted to the car when I bought it, so unsure how many miles they've covered, but the grip is terrible.
Pulling away gently from a junction in the dry they struggle for traction. And in the wet they're useless. I'll admit they coped OK with standing water and didn't aquaplane, but I was probably going so slow as a result of their lack of grip that it wasn't an issue.

When they let go they just go. The turn in is ok, making you think it's gripping well, only for it to let a moment later with no warning. Round-a-bouts in the wet with these is a scary proposition.

I've used Toyo T1-R's previously which are in the same price range and much much better. And I'm now replacing these P6000's with Uniroyal Rainsport 2's as the reviews seem very promising.

I understand that Pirelli have a good name for themselves, and that their P Zero tyres are very good. However their lower end offering is nothing short of dangerous.

Came as stock on my Mk1 Ford Focus 1.8 petrol on purchase. Switched them after 100 miles even though they had 5mm tread left, as very scary lack of grip in the wet. Standing water on road, got wheel spin in 3rd gear. No traction in the wet at all. Swapped out for Hankook Ventus Prime and so much better.

Without a doubt the worst tyre I have ever fitted. Even when new, these tyres caused me to constantly aquaplane at 40mph on the M25.
For me they were dangerous. I replaced them after only 2200 miles.

Pirelli P6000 Came as standard on my Jaguar XJ 2.7TDI, must say I have found them excellent (not a racing driver) but caught for speeding at Le Mans 192kph..and police only managed to catch up when I slowed down...
Current set just changed after 22,000 miles, with still about 250 miles left on the tread.

Before this,owned a 3.0 Jaguar S type fitted with Pirelli Pzeros, also found to be adequate tyres for what required.

After 13000 miles over 18 months, with approx 33% motorway driving, the tyres need replacing. Biggest pile of junk I ever bought. Ironic that the pirelli calendar has a longer usage than their tyres

Fitted these to my 16 wheels to replace the awful Dunlop tyres which are standard fitment on my car, which was hopeless in dry or wet.

The difference between these and the P6000's are like night and day. Excellent grip in all conditions. Even though i have used it for 20k km, hardly any problems and it wears evenly.

I just wonder why people complain about these tires?
Once it runs for about 10km and heats up, it is excellent for grip on my Alfa.

Worst tyre I have EVER had this misfortune of using. Unfortunately these were fitted to my car when I bought it. The car in question a 423bhp S4, what possessed the last owner to run these is beyond me. If it rains and you drive with any intention whatsoever you are going to end up in a hedge. However if you like driving around at speeds that cause large queues to form behind you then these are the tyre for you as they do last well.
How these are still being sold I do not know, for the money there are WAY better tyres out there. Do yourself and your wallet a favour and get some Falken 452/ Toyo T1R/ Khumo KU39 or Rainsport 2 if on a budget.

They lasted 20k on a front end heavy diesel with mainly motorway driving withs bits and pieces of town and country roads.

Dry grip was good and wet grip was ok and for 50 quid per corner for a premium tyre i was happy with the price.

Now im not going to say these are as good as Conti 3 or Michellin PS2 as they are not, but for what the cars capabilities are I was happy.

I always used to buy the P6000 as it was recommended for my car. It was only when I tried another set of tyres (Toyo Proxes) that I came to understand what overpriced crap these Pirelli tyres are. As many others have said, if it rains prepare to bring a change of underpants for the trip. I used to live in Coventry, this was bad enough but the ring road roundabouts in the wet was mental, the back end would step out without any provocation. I finally had enough when I spun the car in the wet on a slip road of the M90 at only 30mph. At least it highlighted to me the importance of tyres and for winter I now have Goodyear Ultragrip 8. Dear Pirelli, stick to making calenders.

i have uesed 2 sets off 205,45,16 pirelli p6000 tyre on my vectra 2.5v6 and they lasted a good 20k each time i now drive a zafira GSI with 225,45,17 and have done about 8k with them and they show no sine off wear yet both the vectra and the zafira get drive how they should be driven if you no what i meen and they work well in all conditions i would recomend them.

Are you a Sunday driver who likes pottering around at 40 everywhere you go? Even through villages (you know who you are) then these tyres will be fine and last years.

Do you fancy yourself as the next Lewis Hamilton? Then the first time you try to take a corner in the wet your undoubtedly going to die.
