Avoid these tyres!. Ok(ish)in the dry, deadly in the wet, especially under steers and no traction even at low speeds. Spend more money and don't make the same mistake as I have done. Off to buy something better.

My car came fitted with these but they are truly dreadful. The grip on fast bends is alright when it's dry but they do wheel spin easily under hard acceleration and I only have a 1.2 turbo petrol with 100bhp. It tramlines and skitters over uneven surfaces and little feedback is offered through the steering.

The worst thing though by a mile is the road noise, it's awful. On fast roads it ranges from loud to unbearable. I can't wait to get rid of these for a bit of peace and quiet. I've always gone for midrange to premium tyres and I certainly know why.

Seriously though if you're after a budget tyre, just spend a extra £10 a corner and buy something acceptable or you'll only regret it for the next 12'000+ miles

i was thinking of selling my nice Golf because of all the noises it made on the road. I'd already asked the garage at Pencoed who fitted these to have another look at them as I had been getting a lot of wheel wobble at 50-60. He told me it would be the DSG on its way out (>105k miles) which I doubted. One tyre has also had a slow leak that isn't the valve. I now see that there are cracks in e tread after 5000 miles, with little evidence of wear.

I suspect these would last for ever, but they're not going to be on my car for very much longer. Having read the other comments on here, I now realise that I've been having all these problems but didn't think it could all be down to these but now I see that I was wrong. Never experienced such bad results from tyres since I had a set with a mix of cross plys and radials on a British leyland special in the 70s.

That bloody noise !!! Nearly changed my wheel bearings. Horrible tyres :/

What can I say!!! Fitted to my Saab 93 convertible. The noise was horrific. Twice had it checked for wheel bearings. Only knew it was the tyre when shifted them to the back. Absolutely awful....DO NOT BUY THESE TYRES ...it is yours and other persons life you gamble with...they should not be allowed on the market.

no grip at 70mph on motor way bend, very skittish, no road or stering feel back, dont seem to wear much, even with big burnouts, would NOT recomend

Probably the worst tyres I have ever had.

If you have a penchant for sliding around and having tons of hairy moments then this is the tyre for you. These tyres should be made illegal to sell. Absolutely shocking grip even in the dry, in the wet you will be praying. Got my mechanic to check my front wheels as I thought my bearings have gone, he came back and said that the bearings were fine and that the tyres were making that banging sound when you hear your wheel bearings go. Absolutely zero Road feedback. The rubber it's made of might as well be plastic. Please, if you value yourself and your car do not buy these tyres.

Noisy rumbling tyres....very irritating noisy rumbling tyres. Sound exactly like knackered wheel bearings.....skittish in the wet at higher speeds....unreliable in the dry. Town car tyres.... Do not put these boots on if you do distance....they will drive you insane with the noisy rumbling. Overall score from me is 3/10.

To cut things short if you fancy the thought of your nice expensive motor to handle like a f*cking labradorite on a lino floor,then these cheap, horrific excuses for tyres are the ones for you my dear friend. These tyres grip like sadness and will leave you out of pocket, out of patience, and more than likely wrapped around the gable end of a bungalow.0/10,would rather have chlamydia (again).
