I've had these tyres before - as an emergency fit for a Nissan Xtrail and they were OK for 18,000 summer road miles on French roads. On the back of this, I chose them for my runabout - tootling to and from work. This journey is mainly 50/60 mph A roads, plus a bit of dual carriageway. Grip wet and dry acceptable for a budget tyre, but not special. Comfort and noise OK too. However, wear has been dreadful - the fronts totally blitzed within 12,000 miles - and the rears half worn too. This on a 1.6 Mitsubishi Space Star - a rocket ship she ain't! These tyres are a false economy - I recommend you look elsewhere.

Performance of tyre is Ok, I bought this to do steady sedate commuting to work where performance is not key, what I wanted was a good wear rate and as its described as a touring tyre this is what I thought I would get. However I have done 6500 miles and the tyres are down to 1.7mm across the whole tyre with even wear. I can not believe it, I drive very gently to work and back, I do not accelerate hard, corner hard or brake hard. These tyres are appauling, I have never seen a tyre wear so fast given how gently its been treated. I would never buy Falken tyres again, first and last time for me.

Bought these tyres to get my car through last years MOT, chose them as a cheaper alternative to Michelin Sport. They did cost less but that didn't mean they were cheaper as MOT is due again and they have worn out already after less than 7,000 miles. Will be going back to Michelin which lasted 30,000 before they needed replacing.

CHEAPER TYRE, FALSE ECONOMY!!!

Boughty these as I thought I was getting a mid range tyre at a budget price - wrong! These are just basic tyres - very nervous in the wet, quite noisy / harsh, and don't last as long as the sidewall markings would indicate. Would not buy again.

Very good tyre for the price. i have bought again just because they are cheap and are good in wet and in the dry. wear could be better but is still good.

These are as expensive as premium brands in my size. The simply do not have the performance to justify the high price. The most scary thing was the wear, achieving just 3900 miles on my SUV.

Wouldn't use again for the above reason.

Had these on my vRS as tyreweb had run out of Toyo Proxes T1R's that day. Had heard good things about Falken before so decided to try these... :(

I have had lots of different tyres before but these are easily the worst. Probably fine for 'normal' driving, pootling around town etc. But my car has had a lot of work and has a lot of torque, it chewed these to pieces in 5k miles! At that time I was commuting a lot and 5k miles amounts to 1 month. I had a moan and got a set of Toyo's again.

Whilst they were on they were very noisey and extremely average in grip on both wet and dry roads. The only surprise was the snowy few weeks we had in 2011 where they actually did quite well??

I guess they are fine for Sunday drivers or small cars :)

Not a bad tyre, but there are better ones out there.
Wear is pretty good, dry performance isn't bad, not so good in the wet/damp.

A good value tyre but not outstanding in any way which for the target market and typical use is actually going to be fine for purpose. I bought these as I was advised they would last longer than the FK452 I wanted but infact they lasted 10,000 miles before needing replacing, something that I was NOt expecting.

Overall this is a great tyre for a mom&pop shopping car not so great if you are a spirited type of driver.

Have 2000 miles so far on Toyota Avalon. These tyres are quiet and give a smooth ride. Not a performance car. Wet traction is great so far. Seems to get a MPG or two more economy than my past tyres. If they live 50K miles I'll be very pleased.

On my MX-5 the Bridgestones were not very good, the Goodyear GSD3's were good but these are better. Makes the car handle better by far and is good in the wet - until they wear down of course. Good mileage, around 16,000 on the fronts and 14,000 on the rears. So happy am having more fitted on the rear today.

I'd previously been running a combination of the orgiginal Bridgestones on the rear of my 350Z and Falken 452s on the front. Having read positive reviews on this site I thought I'd replace the lot with Falken 912s. What an expensive mistake! These replacements provide excellent grip in the wet and have proved very stable at high speeds in a straight line. However, this stability is at the expense of manouverability. The car, which is a famous oversteerer, now understeers and is no longer fun to drive. I should have checked the Falken website before buying them as I have discovered they are described as "touring" tyres. That would explain it then! Don't buy them for this car unless you are a killjoy. I'm going to go back to 452s asap.
