After 15000miles (20000km) tyres have changed in their attitude. First 10000miles were very good both wet & dry, but after that mark went through, even though the thread is still looking good - they started getting slips on wet surface. Please note - this isn't a drastic change, but a change for worse either way... They are good in dry&wet conditions - just that they were obviously better when new. Most tyres I've had so far were very good till hitting the 2-3mm thread, and here we are talking about a 5-6mm front 6-7mm rear thread. I hope they will not change any more - will do a comment after ending the tyres in two years time...

Comfort - quite bad. Its not that they are very noisy, but You feel everything on the road - and no, the tyres are not overpumped. Also with nominal pressure for my car - the tyres look as if they are "flat". Easy to hit the rim when driving through kerbs. The sides of the tires are very slim, probably through weight reduction You get better economy, but the tyre doesn't give enough protection for the rim, and makes the tyre go "flat" with nominal pressure.

Given the price the tyre isnt all that bad, wear could be a bit better, but then again dry&wet handling would suffer. The best thing about these tyres is that they are just made for highway driving - this is the first tyre for my car that helped with keeping a straight line when driving - the thread somehow makes the car keep driving straight instrad of going left-right with every wind gust on the highway.

Given 87% while driving a BMW 525 TDS (225/55 R16) on a combination of roads for 8,000 average miles
Very good tyres! I was a bit sceptic at the time of purchase (I chose them because I don't do very high mileage with my personal car and didn't want to spent a lot of money as I change tyre sets every 3 years) but at the end of the day i was very happy with my purchase. Excellent grip in the dry, pretty good in the wet as well, but the best is the very low noise and the ride quality - they are SUPERB and my tyres are XL ! The wear seems to be very good as well. If NEXEN doesnot change the N'Blue line till next summer tyres change I will definetely buy them again, or I will try the next model

These are my first Nexen tyres. Handling with these is good on dry and wet, I had no complaints about this. Nexen N'Blue HD Plus also keeps good grip on heavy rain and pushes water out of the way. Braking feels very efficient and grippy. Comfort is okay and noise level is average. Cannot review wear rate with this little kilometers.

These may not be the best for heavy cornering, because on the 'edge' they act abit vague (Note 60% profile), so I'm not sure where the grip ends and slipping begins. Light cornering goes good, thought. Nexen price/quality -ratio goes between china-tyres and premium-tyres. Nexens are more than sufficient for everyday driving and a good purchase if you are looking for a basic good tyre.

Given 89% while driving a Skoda Octavia (195/65 R15 H) on a combination of roads for 600 average miles
Very good tires. Silent and excellent wet grip. I highly recommend, especially for the price they have. I only drove for about 600 miles, mostly on dry roads, but had a few hours on wet roads and the car stopped surprisingly well.

Given 100% while driving a Audi 80 2.0E Sport (195/60 R14) on mostly country roads for 3,000 spirited miles
Absolutely brilliant. Very good price, amazing grip wet and dry. Fitted to an old Audi which is very front heavy and is prone to understeer, never had any understeer or lack of grip since fitting and the car gets driven hard.

Nexen have really lifted the bar with these Nexen N Blue HD Plus tyres. As good or better than any premium branded tyre I've ever used, including Continental. Wet grip is "A" rated, excellent. They were around half the price of the usual high priced premium brands I'd normally buy. I find them as good, if not better for use in wet & dry conditions. The wet grip was excellent the day they were fitted, without the need to bed them in.

Given 99% while driving a Skoda Octavia GT 193hp (205/50 R17 V) on a combination of roads for 200 average miles
I always used to buy top premium tyres for my car,an FWD Skoda Octavia 1.8T,remapped to 240hp. After searching a lot and with a lot of hesitation,i decided to order 4 N BLUE HD PLUS tyres. Well...what a nice surprise! After 350kms,my first impressions are very good. Dry and wet grip are amazing, they reach perfomance temperature easily, they are smooth and the comfort level is equal to other very expensive tyres. I do not know about the wear, the depth of the grooves is about 6.8mm,smaller than others indeed. But their treadwear is rated as " 360 " which means that they will last well. Time will show that. I usually keep my tyres for 25.000-30.000 kms,so if they last about 20.000-25.000 kms ,i will be quite satisfied.
And now,the price:...262 euros for 4 of them!!! Not installed. About 40% cheaper than the top premiums ones! They, also, have amazing rolling resistance, i have never experienced that before and this happens without compromising the grip levels! An other "sensitive" factor is the tyre pressure. My car placard suggests 30.5f psi /32r psi for 205/50/17 89 V or W. Theese are 93V XL and they should need almost the same inflations. I keep them to 36.5-38 psi for comfort but they can easily go to 40 psi if i focus on low fuel consumption.I have 5 professional tyre gauges,so i do not think that my measurements are wrong.Maybe this occurs to their freshness, time will show once again.
In my opinion ,this yre is a bargain and quite equal ,in some points, to other more expensive tyres. If they keep perfoming well, very soon to say yet, i will buy them again. The heat in Greece is a strong enemy for tyres,so lets see how they will cope with it.
