Excellent tyres and highly recommended. Ok of you are commuting in your diesel Audi then no, these are not the tyres for you, your diesel Audi isn't a sports car, it doesn't need P-Zeros!

For me these have proven excellent, I personally think 13,000 miles to a set is fantastic and the grip/feedback etc is spot on. Not bad in the wet although tendancy to aquaplane if faced with a patch of standing water!

Highly recommended tyres and I shall be fitting another pair once I've demolished this set!

just replaced 4 Dunlops with P Zero Rosso's and the cars transformed i can actually corner again the 100% confidence

Quite good, but slightly nervous on minimal lock in the rain - an odd trait as generally wet grip is pretty good. Suspect they're noisy though. Looking to change so perhaps that says it all.

On a V70 RDesign Volvo 2.0D doing 20k a year with 70% motorway, remainder B roads. Noisy with not great road response and a hard ride. Great grip in dry and fair in the wet but changed to Dunlop SP SportMaxxTT and got a much softer ride. Performance was good but ride comfort AWFUL!

Am disappointed in these tyres. They came factory fitted on my new Audi A3 Cabriolet last year, and have survived fewer than 13,000 miles (similar story on Auto Express).

When new they were grippy, quiet and coped well with the ice/snow last year - but at that stage they only had a handful of miles on them.

Not prepared to pay out approx. £120 each every year to replace them.

I suppose it all comes down to what you want most out of the tyre, good grip, low road noise etc. but fast degradation, or if you want a tyre that isn't as high performing, but lasts a decent length of time.

For me, it's more the latter but ideally a combination of both. If these tyre were either in the £80 price bracket, or, lasted 20,000 miles, I would happily buy them again, but unfortunately they are neither.

I liked my P-Zero Rossos very much and was on my 3rd set in 5 years. I always felt assured and safe with them on. I had a Seat Altea Freetack 4 which although a family motor on the outside was a hot hatch underneath,and I tended to drive like it was a hot hatch (and it was happy to do so). Like most reviews here the tyres lasted only 14-18 months max but I put that down to my "Enthusiastic" driving style! You wouldn't put these on a regular family runaround as they would be wasted. Performance Tyres you pay for handling and keeping you on the road which these do a great job of. I would buy again for the right car.

I replaced my PZero's when due and the replacements only lasted for 5000 miles. My car does produce some HP but the standard fit PZero is not good on my 350 SLK. have now goe for Bridgestone S001. The outer part of the tyre dissapeared very quickly on all four tyres.

Overall not a bad tyre, but it isn’t the best in the business either, my biggest concerns are the price and the wear, 18,000 miles and all 4 were down to the limit and this is after rotating the wheels front to back and with a fairly steady driving style.

The biggest problem I have though is the cost, £200 a corner which is probably due to Volvo fitting an odd sized tyre but £800 every 18 months is a hard pill to swallow especially as there is not much available in this size. I would have liked to try Continental this time as I was impressed by this manufacturer on my old car plus Continental tyres tend to have a fair bit of rim protection unlike these Pirellis which is another gripe I have.

It's starnge, because many of you complaining about fat wear and uneven wear of these Pirelli PZero Rosso. I purchased my car 4 years in the past 2007, and the car was fitted with practically new (2000~3000 miles) tires. I driving not so many - have bike and other car, but done on these tires ~12 000 miles. And they still have more than half depth of the tread. My driving style not so F1 style, but sometimes I sprint from stop or reach speeds more than 200km/h. And the engine is 4.3L, RWD ~300HP.
Anyway I have one complain - Pirelli PZero Rosso are quite noisy :( (tire manuf. year 2005)

tyres perform well enough with minimal road noise good grip and handling characteristics. Although they have worn evenly across the tread on my Audi A6 saloon, they have only lasted 13000 very ordinary miles, very dissapointing cosidering tyre pressures checked regularly and rotation to keep overall wear even. Would not buy again as cannot afford a set of tyres every year! Sorry

I recently purchased 2008 Audi A5 2.7 TDI. When test driving between 10-35 mph there was a lot of road noise and fine vibration felt on the steering. At the time i thought this to be road surface noise but was unsure as it was so severe but agianst my better judgment i bought the car. Drivng at speed was no problem but slowing or coastin between 35-standstill the car made a terrible noise and vibrations on the steering wheel were very bad, so much so that i could not imagine that it could all be down to tyre noise. The tyres on the car were budget Sunny make. I have replaced all four tyres with Pirelli PZero Rosso 97AO 245-40-18. The drive now is completely different, there is no noise or vibration apparent and the car has been transformed to being smooth and silent. Last week i was begining to think i had bought a car with major problems but it has been transformed by fitting the pirelli's and drives how you would expect the A5 to be, a very impressive vehicle.
