BMW S1 Sport - appreciate torque will be high on a Sport rear wheel drive but only 12800 miles on a new set of rear Bridgestone tyres was poor. Had a nail in one and pressure kept being too low - measured to find tread was about low so decided to replace the pair. Replaced with Goodyear and have found ride quality, road noise and wear to date have been far superior - would not recommended Bridgestone.

Fitted to my M Sport 320 diesel from New.lucky only on 17inch rims as the ride has been harsh and noisy just over 17000 miles had a front changed due to a bolt into the tread area changed by BMW runflat insurance so same was fitted but will not be refitted to the rear too expensive poor ride.noisy.and there are better tyres out there.

How BMW think these were ever acceptable is beyond belief.

Honestly, stone wheels would be better, because that's what they feel like.

Bought my BMW 318d second hand with a slightly worn pair on the rear and almost new on the front. Terrible. Twitchy, prone to tramlining, uncomfortable and expensive.
Just about to replace all four for non-RF, probably go for Goodyears (have a set of winter Goodyears which are about to come off for the summer).

horrendous tram lining, hit a rough surface or a line of cats eyes exiting motorway. jesus steering allover fighting. feels very unsure and causes a lack in confidence. bought the 320d msport with them on virtually new. dont know weather to change for non runflats or keep as they are new. i think if i did more than a few weekend miles i would defo bin them. i might doughnut them and change for falkens or pirelli non runflats.

wish they would start putting a proper spare back in cars. this car doesn't even have space for a runflat.

As a long time driver of BMW cars I am used to a spirited drive with lots of feel and precision. This is the first set of run flat Tyres I have driven for any period of time. Hopefully they will be the last.

Grip in the dry is poor and under fast cornering there is no give in the tyre at all, it is difficult to get a feel for the grip because the feedback through the steering wheel is constantly hard and harsh. This sucks confidence and leads to driving, for me, being dull.

In the wet the Tyres are like driving a Lego car - the grip is pathetic and the lack of feedback and feel makes the problem I have in the dry even worse.

At the first hint of a bump, with any steering or cornering at all, the car steps out. Not much, but enough to kill confidence.

The ride is bumpy, harsh and noisy - I don't expect perfection, my car is on 19 inch wheels, but the harsh ride equates to constant white noise through the seat and steering wheel making it very difficult to have any precision, or anything approaching a delicate touch. The road noise is ridiculous.

When BMW are known for making drivers cars it is telling that bulk standard cars come fitted with these junk Tyres while cars from the M Sport division have non-run flat Tyres. I think fitting run flats allows a saving on a spare wheel and tyre at the expense of the ride in a car that is meant to be known for the quality of the drive.

BMW - wake up to what your customers want and stop fitting thee tractor Tyres to performance cars.

I had a brand new set of these fitted 6700 miles ago. Approx 50% done on cruise control on motorways. The backs are gone already (under 2mm).
Even before this the ride was hard and the tyres always put me on edge when near the limit. They are terrible in the wet also. These are also one of the most expensive options in this size out there. I don't see why anyone would buy this tyre more than once so I will be moving away from this tyre and trying something new.

Very variable reviews mainly from BMW drivers but on an Audi A4 with 17 inch rims they seem quite reasonable for a Run Flat. Good grip in the dry, reasonable grip in the wet, a bit noisy but not excessively so for Run Flats. Fronts have lasted just under 18000, backs will probably last about 25000 despite the car being nose heavy and a lot of my driving being on poor A roads in the Peak District.

Have used them in snow without problems but I grew up with cross plys many years ago and think that for many drivers it's lack of practice and unreasonable expectations for what is a summer tyre.

These are good tyres. 2 sets for 67000 miles! That is great I think! But a big but for me was the comfort. Really not good but is fun flats full stop. I have a bmw 330d sport had to look out for any bump in the road. Changed to non run flat tyres now I look for bumps in the road. Car on turn in not quite as sharp on turn in. But only done about 30 miles on them. Half the road noise too. If like me was reading and thinking if I should change to non run flat tyres. I would for sure change them. Not a cost thing to me. More everyday comfort. Tyres I put on by the way are Vredestein Ultrac Vorti. From people's great reviews not tyre tests results. Hope these last as long! But sure they won't. Will do and update on them soon.

Quite the worst tyre I have ever driven on. Probably fine on a track, but for everyday useless. Harsh and noisy are the only two adjectives I could use that could be repeated here. I am a professional driver by occupation and I've never come across a more uncomfortable tyre before. Can't wait to change them and will go foe Goodyear Eagle F1s without a second thought. Don't buy these unless you are a committed speed freak! Had an unexplainable blowout last Monday and the tyre split halfway around the inner rim. Run flat - Pah!
