Given 74% while driving a Volkswagen 1.8 20vT Sport (215/35 R19 W) on mostly town for 9,000 spirited miles
This is the second set of these i have had on my passat, i'm not running huge horsepower (230bhp) and these grip fine, even though my suspension has been lowered over 100mm, a bit slippy in the wet, but i don't really notice as i don't drive like an animal in the rain, many people don't like them, i do, always have, and i'll buy them again.

These tyres are excellent but wear quite fast.
I have had two sets now and cant believe how grippy they are even when down to the legal limit (Wet and Dry).

Given 47% while driving a BMW 130i M (225/45 R17 V) on a combination of roads for 12,000 spirited miles
Ok for a budget tyre in the dry, poor and unreliable in the wet compared to a Conti/Goodyear/Michelin. Very little rim protection, and didn't last long either. A false economy.

Given 70% while driving a MG ZR (205/40 R17 W) on mostly country roads for 12,000 average miles
Got a set of these and ran them over the course of about 12K before the fronts were on the limits, this was only on a 1.4 MG ZR, so nothing stupidly powerful that will chew them up.
Dry grip is acceptable but wet leaves something to be desired once they hit around 3mm. Feedback is good when on the limit, and no tendancy to snap off into oversteer when going a bit quick round some corners.

An OK tyre for the price, but don't be fooled into thinking these are anywhere near as good as their Ultra-High Performance counterparts. Running Goodyear Eagle F1A2s at the moment, and they're infinitely better in the wet and their wear rates look a lot better too.

Given 46% while driving a Mercedes Benz C220 CDI Sports (245/40 R17 W) on a combination of roads for 8,000 average miles
I would not fit these tyres to my car again due to the fact that they wear out incredibly quick. I do not drive around fast or spinning the wheels. After only 8,000 miles the rears are bald and the front have about 3mm left. They have also worn uneven on the front and before you think tracking or suspension, it as been into Mercedes twice to have aliment checked and they can not find anything wrong. They did however advise me to get rid of these tyres asap.
My verdict = rubbish for a Mercedes rear wheel drive.

Given 89% while driving a BMW 320D (255/40 R17 W) on a combination of roads for 19,000 spirited miles
These were fitted to the rear wheels of my car. The Falkens 452 have very good wet grip, even with partially flooded roads you can still drive at summer speeds. The feedback you get from these tyres are superb, the feel and the sound of the tyres changes at the limits.

Even when the tyres are close to balding, they still maintained grip on the wet highway, which was quite amazing. By then, the tyres will be making ugly sounds so you will know its time to change. I just replaced to a new set of these tyres for the rear wheels again.

Given 87% while driving a BMW 320D (225/45 R17 W) on a combination of roads for 19,000 spirited miles
I switched to this tyre from Bridgestone Runflats on my BMW and the difference between them was like day and night. These were fitted to my front wheels. The Falkens have very good wet grip, even with partially flooded roads you can still drive at summer speeds. The feedback you get from these tyres are superb, the feel and the sound of the tyres changes at the limits.

Try to buy tyres manufactured within one year of your purchase so that it will maintain its softness and grip.

Given 28% while driving a Mazda RX8 (225/45 R18) on a combination of roads for 15,000 spirited miles
Terrible. Slides everywhere. In rain are scary. Never grips.
The lip protection is so small that simply dont exists. Ruined my rims
At 15.000 miles im looking for new tyres.
Cheap but does not work.
At least not here in Greece on my RX8.

Given 87% while driving a Skoda Octavia (205/55 R16) on mostly country roads for 12,000 spirited miles
Having read the reviews here I bought a new pair of these for the front as the original Dunlops were terrible. Quieter, far grippier & much more feedback tho' not as much as some tyres I've used on previous cars but a VR6 Corrado is always going to give more feedback than a Skoda Octavia. ;~}

Liked the 452's so much I bought a new pair to replace the other Dunlops at the back & the car feels even better.

Given 41% while driving a SEAT Leon Cupra (225/40 R18 W) on mostly town for 5,000 spirited miles
Had these all round, very little grip when worn and that doesn't take long.Only lasted 5000 miles on front they just spin all the time in the wet in any gear! Fun but not cost effective! ok wear on rear though.

Given 63% while driving a Audi A5 (235/35 R19) on a combination of roads for 2,000 average miles
The biggest issue for me with these tyres is their very poor rim protection - I have now dinged the nearside alloy 3 times, which had never happened before with the factory-fitted tyres. Yes, I should have been more careful but all 3 were the merest of touches, resulting in bad alloy damage.

Very disappointed as a result - I'll keep them until they're done but then I'll get the wheels refurbished and get new tyres with better rim protection.
