Sailun Atrezzo ZSR Reviews - Page 3

Mazda 6 Series (205/55 R16) on a combination of roads for 0 average miles
Daughter just had these tyres fitted to the front of her Mazda 6
Personally I've never heard of them! They cost her $80AU each (I take it plus balance and fit).
As long as they have the new yellow dot on the side of the tyre I know they are good :D
Seriously though, I hope these front tyres are good, we are in Spring here (wet then windy then warm days and nights, you know Spring a mixture of everything!).

Also note, there was no 'choice' so to speak. She basically just went and got new tyres and the guy recommended these ones.
All I can say her drive home in the wet (she actually went about 60kms distance near her bf house) she said they are 'good'. So there's the initial review.

Given 90% while driving a (225/45 R17) on a combination of roads for 0 average miles
Great tire. Super wet and dry grip. You would think it was a premium mature.

I recommend the tire.
In 5 to 10 years, Sailun will be among the best in the world, I'm sure

Mercedes Benz C220 CDI Sports (255/35 R18) on a combination of roads for 1,000 easy going miles
This tyres are very poor at wet conditions. I have a Mercedes (RWD) and put them in the rear wheels. Every time I turn to anywhere, I can feel the back sliping off at low speed.
I will not buy this tyres again...

BMW (225/45 R17 W) on a combination of roads for 1,000 spirited miles
Having had good previous experience with sailun, and wanting a good budget tyre for my bmw 320ci with sport suspension, I chose the ZSRs over other chinese alternatives.
And my choice was good. ... I am more than happy with these tyres, they are great. Comfortable, excellent grip, quiet, I am amazed they are so cheap... SAILUN is a premium brand for me, making excellent products. I am mich more.happy than with the michelin pilot sport 3 that they replaced.

Given 90% while driving a Audi 1.8T Quattro (225/45 R17) on a combination of roads for 5,000 average miles
So far (6000km) i am very satisfy with this tyres,i have a very good grip from them (dry-wet,δεν το σκιζω κιολας) and i put 9 for the scores (and not 10)because the car is quattro(the car had very good grip at any Greek road,dry-wet-snow,Με νορμαλ κ λιγο σπιρτοζικη οδηγηση) Before them i had dunlop rt max sport (for 50000km,στο τελος με γκαζια εκανα πατιναζ σε γυαλι δρομο,πλεον οχι!!)and now i see how good grip and comfort have the car(για τα λεφτα τους αξιζει να τα δοκιμαδεις,αν εισαι πλεον οικογενειαρχης.καμια σχεση με τα φτηνιαρικα)

Given 89% while driving a Jaguar X Type 2.2d (225/45 R17 W) on a combination of roads for 19,000 spirited miles
Long-Term Review: Ordered two of these back in December 2014, and fitted them to my X-Type Jag. They have lasted well, wearing evenly and 19,000 miles later - all on the front axle, still have 2-3mm of tread left. That's pretty good - particularly on a front-wheel drive car.

In terms of handling, fuel economy, noise etc. I experienced no noticeable difference over other tyre brands fitted (I have owned the car since new and covered 96000 miles over the last 10 Years).

The original Pirelli's had a tendancy to 'tram-line' on some road surfaces and lasted 13-15K (font axle) before wearing out, so they are not worth the premium price.

Over the Years, I subsequently fitted Continental, Avon and Hankook tyres - all of which were good mid-range priced tyres, lasting around 13-15K.

So, I have just ordered another set of 4 Sailun's: In summary they appear slightly more durable than the other makes I have tried, have similar handling / refinement characteristics, and are very good overall value. It is easy therefore to recommend them.

Given 83% while driving a BMW 525d e60 m sport (275/30 R19 W) on a combination of roads for 15,000 average miles
Had a Sailun to the rear on BMW 5 Series (RWD) and after 2.5yrs & (15,000miles) I still have 6mm thread left. Very comfortable, durable and resilient tyre. Mixture of motorway, A and B roads with usually a family of 4 at all times..I can recommend these tyres highly.

Given 81% while driving a Holden VE 2011 Sports Wagon (245/40 R19) on mostly country roads for 7,000 easy going miles
I was a bit sceptical about trying these tyres as firstly I have been a bridgestone fan for many years and was very happy with the performance of my last tyres.I only decided to give the Sailun Altezzo ZSR 245/40-19 a go due to the huge price difference between these tyres with the Bridgestones ones that I was happy with. Bridgestones were $370 each...the Sailuns were $110 each.Because of my Finacial situation at the time, I decided to get some cheap and nasties until I was more financial to pay the big bucks....After having the Sailuns fitted...Guess what. The performance of handling of the tyres in dry and wet conditions along with tread wear and road noise was remarkably surprising. Compared to the Bridgestone, they seemed to be the same , if not better than the Bridgestones.....I will not look back now and continue to use these tyres as my back pocket is alot healthier. :)

Given 81% while driving a Honda Accord Euro (225/45 R17) on mostly town for 5,000 average miles
This is a second review to correct a mistake done on the previous review of mine, if you see below there is a review stating driving a "BENTLEY".

Obviously it's a mistake as my car is a Honda Accord Euro. And since I revisited the same comments apply more or less as in the previous review of mine while having done 5000 miles.

Next change I may revert to the Z4+AS model from Sailun, their main advantage is economy , main drawback the noise

Given 46% while driving a Peugeot 5008 (225/45 R17) on a combination of roads for 7,500 average miles
I have them on the front of my peugeot 5008,this is the 2nd set I've had and the last only capable of 7500 miles, maybe on the back they could give a better return.
Not great in the wet either.

Given 41% while driving a Vauxhall (215/50 R17 W) on mostly motorways for 2,000 average miles
Had two of these fitted to the front to replace worn sailun z4 as tyres which I was impressed with, after 2 weeks with these I can say that I am fairly unimpressed with them they are noisy and do not grip on damp roads my traction control has to kick in. I checked the pressure that f1 autocentres put in and it was 38 psi too much in my opinion so I have reduced to 35psi to see how they perform at this moment in time I would say stay away a shame really as I thought these tyres would have been as good if not better than the Z4+as. If they do not improve I will look to either put them on the back or ditch them all together.
