Volkswagen Multivan T6 Tyre Review Highlights

Writing about the Point S Summerstar 2 given 46% (215-65-16-)
Driving on mostly motorways for 13000 average miles
I have had 3 tyre blow outs in the past 3 months, all of them have been Summer Star Tyres. This most recent one was yesterday on the above mentioned tyre. I had no complaints about these tyres up until their sudden and catastrophic failure.
The first two that blow out were on my trailer. They failed within a few hundred km's of each other. Both were shredded so it was impossible to determine the cause of the failures. The one yesterday has a gash across the tread face.
I cannot know for sure if the cause of the failures are related, but I start getting paranoid when 3 of the same brand tyres fail in such close succession.
The tyres on the trailer were relatively new with very good tread. They were not over inflated and were not carrying anywhere close to their load capacity.
The tyre on the Kombi was more worn, but not down to the wear warning indicators. They were inflated to the VW specification and the vehicle was empty.

Writing about the Nokian Outpost AT given 93% (235-65-17-)
Driving on a combination of roads for 2000 average miles
These tires are a big step forward from the Nokian Rotiiva AT i had for long time before. On the Road they are just a tiny little louder, and nearly no addition at the fuel consumption, compared with the normal summer tires (Nokian PowerProof 255/45/18). Dry grip is excellent. Wet grip is a little lower than the summer tires, like expected, but also very good. Since now i had too little Off Road to make a serious judgement about. I would buy them again.
