Driving on mostly motorways for 20,000 average miles
For a BMW 5 Series Tourer manufacture warranty tyre, l am very disappointed in its wear performance. The tread gauge limit indicator is approx 2.8-3.0mm and before l have got to this, probably around the 3.3mm mark l have had 3 tyres now in a row tear along the inside wall where it meets the road tread. Steel belt holds out for about 7 miles and then it tears all the way around. From external examination and experience with this tyre although it was the 3rd l still could not see warning signs before it tore. On the up, as a run flat l have done 90MPH on a full flat with no loss of grip / security. I will be moving over to Yokahama or Michillen in future.

After installing these tires on my 944, it felt like a new car.
No more road noise and great grip.

Given 83% (breakdown) while driving a Ford Focus MK3 (225-45-17-)
Driving on mostly town for 6,600 spirited miles
These were the factory fitted tyres on my Focus and i have to say...i think they are a great tyre. The road noise can be a little loud but other than that, it grips well in both wet and the dry and the feedback you get from this tyre is reasonably good. They do tend to twitch when you hit a bump or go over slightly uneven road surfaces but they grip through it. Coupled with the ESP traction control system in my car...i have no problems with driving in wet or the dry with these tyres! The added bonus is that they are more environmentally friendly than most other tyres, as they have a low rolling radius and so you don't need much engine power, helping you to reduce your CO2 emissions. I would recommend this tyre if you're looking for a good all rounder.

Given 29% (breakdown) while driving a Honda Civic LS saloon 1800cc (195-65-15-V)
Driving on a combination of roads for 18,000 average miles
OEM tires for my Civic 1.8 Sedan. Very noisy in the first place. Activates ABS even on slightest provocation on loose gravel or wet roads. Ride comfort is below average. Seems to last longer than other premium comfort tires. Would never want to buy another.

Driving on mostly motorways for 108,000 average miles
Initially as a company car, the Fleet Dept had these fitted as standard and advised, as it was my first time with RF's, to stay with Goodyear. A full set in B68 vicinity is ?1100 as a private owner, now.

I am a motorway driver with a sad propensity for driving up my MPG. Over the past 45k have averaged 47mpg.

The tyres on the M5/M6/M40/M42 have been quiet and have quite good grip in the dry. Wet is pants, even given very light right foot action. Almost no perceivable noise, even at higher speeds on non-asphalt surfaces.

Tyres bought at 87k miles and still look OK at 108k - some signs of ageing though.

Given 34% (breakdown) while driving a BMW 530D (245-40-18-W)
Driving on a combination of roads for 13,000 spirited miles
A disaster. Wheelspin in the dry and wet. Hopped and skipped in the wet. Ride was terrible, tyre noise was high. Tyre wear was concentrated on the insides. Replacement costs extortionate. Not suited to the poorly surfaced and potholed roads in UK.

Driving on a combination of roads for 100 spirited miles
The tyre is good. The grip in the wet so not so good after 30,000 km.
