I put these on my car after having them first on the girlfriends car which I might add suit the car well. The dry grip is fantastic and the wet grip is very close behind, the ride is smooth with little noise and they corner well even in the wet,as with my partners car they feel better 2psi above minimum...they are a tyre that needs to be driven carefully from new till at least 80/100 mile to take the shine off like most new tyres. The photo of this tyre doesnt do it justice they look like crossplys, they are a nice wide tyre and I will be getting them again for around £44 they are a steal, they have a high treadwear ratiing of over 400 and should last me a good while, unlike some of the tyes I have had in the past...I like them a lot.

I was very skeptical before getting this tyres but went for them after recommendations from a few friends that have run them for a season. I got 2 for the front wheels of a FWD car. First impression was great. The ride was much quieter and road surface imperfections were not longer shaking the whole car. The grip in the wet was simply phenomenal. They were very grippy in the wet, mud and snow. There was more then one instances where I was able to get through snowed over hills and up climes that few other non AWD cars were able to cover. Braking in the same conditions inspire confidence. These were also probably the first set of tyres that I could not easily get to wheel spin in first gear. I had the set for 10 000 km now over the winter season in Bulgaria and they show no sign of wear. I was told by the dealer that Matador is a daughter company of Continental and use similar Silicon based compounds. I am very happy and will buy again.

Used these tyres for my car for about two years. I was driving on any roads apart frrom tracks. I would like to say that these have a very good grip on any weather condition apart from winter as these are summer tyres. The tread is wearing quite quick. After 10,000 miles one pair had only 3mm left. It is quite noise, but gives very good grip.

Although driving a car not renowned for great handling, these tyres certainly did the biz in terms of pointing and directing the nose into corners, i noticed fantastic front end grip, compared to ther tyres whereras other tyres which tend to understeer, (admittedly not helped by the type of car). The stiff walls of the profiler 2 stop tyre roll noticeable helping avoid undertsteer transforming the agility of such heavy car. Car felt solid and steady mid corner and so controllable inspiring a lot of confidence. From motorway driving to country road thrashing, these tyres cope with everything thrown at them. The more you hammer them the more they enjoy it and reward the driver. Despite combination of different types of driving, wear rate seemed very good although only limitted miles driven. A definite repeat purchase.

I originally had Goodyear NCT5's fitted to the vectra, but they were way to expensive for what they are, then I moved onto falken ZE512's which I thought were the worst tyre I have ever had on any car as the would slide on corners in the wet and were just totally rubish. Then I deciced to put Falken ZE912's on, and they are great value for money, at half the price of the original good year NCT 5, they seem to be a lot better tyre, and give plenty of wet and dry grip also positive feedback through the wheel, I wud recoment anyone to buy these tyres, I have done 10000 miles of hard driving and there is still plenty of tread.

I have had these tyres on for approx 5000 miles and have used them on roads varying from country lanes to motorways. They have been a huge improvement from my last tyres (Maxxis MA-V1) in every aspect, particularly wet and dry grip.
They've also proved themselves to be relatively quiet and ride well. They have even improved my MPG without any effort from me. I will buy these again.

Extremely pleased with the tyres, excellent grip in all conditions including the recent snow where i never got stuck any where. However my biggest gripe is that the tyres are just over half worn now but they seem to be getting very noisy, but otherwise very good.

I cant fault these tyres, came as standard equipment on the car from the factory. Almost 50,000 motorway miles driven on these from new and only now comming up to the legal limit, rotated front tyres to rear at around 25,000 miles.
Grip is good in wet and dry conditions pretty quiet and no problems with handling or comfort. Low maintenence I can think of 1 time I've needed to put air in.
I'm replacing these with the same and hope they last just as long.

I have had 2 sets of these tyres on the car, only the price has stopped me having them on the car at present. In the dry they were very good and also in the wet I also felt safe in bad water conditions they never gave up on grip.
They are as said by others here a bit loud and hard on the road, I read in the autoexpress 2006 I think tyre test they came in last, I found this hard to believe I drive my car quite hard and these tyres always kept me glued to the road. I dont like the new HP version not enough grooves for me. I would have these again but for the price, even though I only got just over 12k out of them.
