OEM for my Volvo. Lasted 23000 miles for the front. Changed the backs after another 12000 after putting them at the front. Not bad tyres. Lasted longer than I thought. Not very good when really cold, but that's what winter tyres are for.

My tyres only lasted 16000 miles on a seat leon fr had great grip and I could throw the car into a corner without worry. I drive 50 miles a day 75% motorway. So as other reviews have stated the tyre wear is very poor I opted for regular p zero this time to see how they fare.

**AVOID PURCHASE**

I do 95% motorway mileage (about 65 MPH) so very careful 2 hours a day.
These tyres have only lasted 20k (All four!!!). 15k in I swapped the front tyres with the back to even the wear. For me this is totally unacceptable, especially since it cost me £780 for all 4 and I do 20k miles a year.
Tram lining is a serious problem with these tyres, you really notice it when changing lanes.
To be honest the grip is good, no where near the Michelin range.
Going for a set of Falken-ZE914's as the reviews seem to praise well for the price, full set £500 fitted.

These tyres are as bad as budget tyres on damp roads. Do not buy.

Better in dry when compared to the RE050A's, however a tiny little bit worse in the wet. No squeaking on the limit, works very nicely on both flat and coarse tarmacs.

I think the problem with reviews is the wide variation of cars these tyres might be fitted to. It is hardly surprising that some cars can not generate the heat these tyres need to work. Be honest, pirelli do know what they are doing, cold they tend rub along the top of the road rather than dig deep and bond to it, on several porches i tested them on they are warm to the touch with in 3 miles or so and and offer absolutely huge reserves of deep grip. A fraction squidgy on turn in(being picky) but really fluid and brilliant on exit.On uk roads it will be struggle to ever use all this tyre has to offer,when hot they are sublime, A great buy, but be realistic with yourself the nero may be a better option. All that said they dissolved off my car in less than 6000 which means I may park my cash elsewhere.
If they were a bit cheaper and I would have no quible at all going back for another set.

After getting these all round and recommended by kwikfit as probably the best tyres for my car (more likely my budget) when new they were quite good, but road noise was quieter but consider the tyres that they replaced were on or below the limit. Road noise got worse and quickly, now if you go over a rough road the noise is horrendous. Wet grip is poor and if its slightly damp taking any corner at a spirited speed will shock you. I know that the civic ride is hard but these have not improved comfort road noise in any aspect. I will not be buying these again, I've also noticed they do not do well in the new tyre ratings, C for grip in the wet and F for economy.

Possibly the worst tyre I've ever had, and I've had a lot of cars. Terrible wear after 3,000 miles to which is suddenly loses all grip in wet and they needed changing after 9,000 because it was so unsafe.
I've since moved to Michelin PS3's which are a delight.

These tyres are designed for very high performance cars so unless you get them properly warmed up (which is difficult to do at UK road legal speeds) they are noisy, harsh and lack grip in both the wet and the dry. Also, if you do drive hard enough to get them warm they wear out in 12,000 miles or less. However, once at the right temperature and pressure they are excellent. Phenomenal dry grip at the limit then a very predictable break away and progressive once full traction is lost and you're over the edge of grip. Turn in is excellent with mild under steer only under heavy trail braking. They do have a tendency to track with road camber but these are performance tyres on sports orientated cars. Rear dry grip is again excellent. You can easily feel when the limit is reached and oversteer is easy to initiate and control. In the wet it's next to impossible to keep the heat in them and wet grip is poor in comparison. Stiff sidewalls mean you need to keep your wits about you as you get very little warning of a puncture before the tyre is about to come to pieces.

Absolute shocking tyre. These things are dangerous.
These were fitted on the front on my c30 2.0d when I bought the car (2nd hand). In the wet driving slowly approaching a junction the car slid into the other lane as I made the turn. Thankfully no cars were coming in the other direction. Going round roundabouts is a lottery and off putting to say the least. In the dry they noisey and squeal a lot with 5.5mm of tread. Yes tracking is perfect.
These are coming off this wkend. I have no confidance with these tyres at all and I would warn everybody against them. There are far better tyres out there ie...conti sport 2 and 3.

Very bad tyres on my option, on wet road no grip very slipy, dry road ok but apart that very noisy feel like drive tractor.left tread about 4mm but im going to change that tyres to continental sport contact.
