It's a pleasure to do business with a company that gives you the correct
advice, and ensures your getting the best possible purchase for your budget.

Tyre Traders of Darlaston is just such a company, Chris of this company was patient and very forthcoming with the information I needed and as a result of his advice I purchased myself a set of four tyres Namely Altenzo sport comforter.

On Sunday 17/11/2013 I was able to give them a thorough test of their ability
when I was caught up in M5 tailback due to a fatal accident on the M5, after doing just 16 miles of my journey I decided to take to the back roads and lanes of the countryside to complete my journey.

This provided the perfect test for my new tyres, wet leaves slippery road surface and it was misty as well, the tyres could not have had such a perfect test and they could not have performed better in those conditions.

I am so glad that I took Chris's advice, and bought the Altenzo tyres and chose Tyre Traders of Darlaston for my purchase.

I recommend this company to one and all if your looking for tyres, you get excellent product advice and supreme service combined with quick delivery as well.

CONTACT THIS COMPANY IF YOU ARE SEEKING TYRES AND GOOD SERVICE AND ADVICE.

Given 57% while driving a Alfa Romeo brera (235/40 R18) on mostly motorways for 1,000 average miles
Had these tyres for 20000 on the front for the last 10 months. Mainly do motorway driving, and for this the tyres are fine. Still 3.5mm of tread, and Breras do have a reputation in eating up the front tyres.

Noise and dry grip are adequate

However, would agree with some of the other reviewers that wet grip is below average. Skidded (understeer) recently on a roundabout, at 30mph, in moist conditions is/isnt fun (depending on your outlook!). I'm not sure how much a contributing factor the tread depth was here. First time it happened. On the motorway, no problems with aquaplanning.

When the front need doing, I'm tempted by the price and longevity. Its a toss between getting a premium brand with the grip and running it down to the wire (with its loss of grip over its life) vs Altenzo, which could be replaced twice for the same price; but crucially have more tread on them.

Read all reviews and decided to try 2 Altenzo Sport Comforter tyres on the of front my car, mostly because of the price to be fair and the guy at Flaxley tyres tells me that there better than budget brands at the same money.I have travelled up and down the motorway and to be very honest I have not noticed these tyres , no road noise,no slipping in wet,no vibration so i have to say that the fella was right they are good tyres regardless of the price, Still a bit confused about some of the dodgy reviews but have noticed that my tyres where called "sport comforter plus" Still i am very happy with mine

Its a terrible tyre. never tried skidding so much after i fitted these so call AUS engineered china products. dry grip jz average but the wet grip was terrible. these tyres will skids and makes me felt no confidence to cruise faster during raining. road noise was so loud. annoys me to drive longer. i wont ever buy these tyres again.

Given 53% while driving a Audi A4 1.9 TDI (225/45 R17) on a combination of roads for 5,000 average miles
These tyres came on a set of alloys i bought on ebay so i put them on the rear of my A4 and put some new dunlops onf the front. The Dunlops are fantastic and never let go ever. The Altenzos keep sliding around all over the place, especially on roundabouts. Nearly had an accident 4 or 5 times now as these let the back end step out in the moistest of conditions. Wear is good but softer rubber compounds will grip much better and Id rather spend some in a year than end up in an accident. Never again.

Since having these tyres for nearly a year, they are hard wearing, wear is very good, so have no issues with them even in the wet.Would by again as i had Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric on all 4 corners, but would be buying the fronts every 6 months, because of the wear factor.Well done Altenzo, another excellent product, well pleased.

Recommended by my local garage Euro tyre outlets and glad I listened .Really they are only 30 pounds more than the cheapest types on offer on all four . Would defo buy again .

Given 93% while driving a Audi a3 s line (225/45 R17) on a combination of roads for 4,000 spirited miles
Had types fitted to audi a3 s line about 4 months ago and I got to say they are better than I expected. Price wise they were no much more than the cheapest types on offer but have impressed me in all driving situations . I'm not one to hang around and have pushed them hard . Would say if you are looking for a cheap price tyre that is a good as a much higher price tyre this is the tyre for you

Shoulder very hard, after two years and 22000 are to be changed because imporrite and with a hole has formed a bump on the shoulder. Were it not for the poor road holding on wet roads might be a good compromise given their low cost (110 euros each)

Given 58% while driving a Holden 2000 VT Berlina Supercharged (225/45 R17) on a combination of roads for 0 average miles
I have a holden 3.8 litre supercharged V6, and have these tyres on the rear, put on by the car dealer (rear wheel drive,) they perform well in the dry, but they scare the crap out of me in the wet, already spun out at low speeds in the wet around tight corners, and have difficulty trying to maintain grip during accelration in the wet.

Follow up review after 30,000km

After driving over hilly terrain and without rotating the tyres as yet, the front (drive) tyres are down to 5mm of tread with the rear at 8mm all round. Grip has been progressively better than first purchased as the blocks were quite spongy/floaty during the first 5oookm. Ive never spun out on these tyres at round-a-bouts or corners and ive pushed them hard to see if i could so im not sure how other reviewers are getting these tyres to slide under wet conditions. I would say a heavy rwd sedan or 4wd would not favor these tyres but rather light hatchbacks.
