Bridgestone Adrenalin RE002 Reviews - Page 4

Given 54% while driving a Audi TT (245/40 R18 W) on mostly town for 15,000 average miles
I ride audi tt 2.0 tfsi FWD. This tyre should heated so you should ride at least 15 km before you get best performance. therefore, this tyre is unsuitable for short rides. when it is cold it is the worst tyre i ve ever used. Not only it is too hard but also it is too louder tyre. I do not recommend these tyres.

Given 86% while driving a Lexus IS300 (225/45 R17) on a combination of roads for 0 average miles
Comfort and Performance, grippy tires and more comfortable compared to the stock Potenza RE050. I already lowered the car with tein springs and bilstein performance shocks, and these tires on 18 rims still ride well

Given 86% while driving a Nissan almera gti (205/45 R16 V) on track for 5,000 spirited miles
Really great tyre, nice follow up from the re050a.
Dry grip is really good, but missing some grip over the yokohama parada spec 2.
Wet grip is really good. They behave well on tracks.
You feel very good when oversteer/understeer is coming. They will scream a little bit. Buying them again for my dialy car.
The tyres are heavy compared to other brands.
They don't wear out fast, at the moment i drove 6000km on them and they look like new

Given 78% while driving a MINI Cooper S (205/50 R16) on mostly town for 2,000 spirited miles
Difficult to rate tyres as it's not like you try out several brands every week and concentrate on the intricate differences. That said, I put these on a 210bhp MINI Cooper S and can't really fault them for the price range. Dry grip is excellent, wet grip is impressive and much better than the Falkens I was running previously, and feedback from road is also good. They're not too loud, but I cannot comment on wear yet as have only had them for a couple of months. If I was looking for a tyre in the same price range again I would buy them, but will probably pay more and go for a more fast road/track tyre.

Given 91% while driving a Peugeot 208 1.6 vti (205/50 R16 W) on a combination of roads for 3,700 spirited miles
Dry grip is awesome! Wet grip is outstanding as well just slip once at very high speed cornering but traction regain very soon. So far driven 6000km and wear is about 1mm so i think it is above average. Overall very outstanding tyre compared to replaced michelin energy saver! Definitely recommended if you enjoy driving enthusiasm!

Given 94% while driving a Ford Laser (195/50 R15) on a combination of roads for 40,000 spirited miles
I have a 2000 Ford Laser - 195/55/R15. I got all 4 put on new rims after having the skinny stock tyres. They have lasted for 3years and just over 60K and only just getting to the point that I need to shop for new ones. Only had a wheel alignment when I got them, so it is surprising that they have lasted this long. Always keep tyre pressure checked every 2 weeks. I prefer 36psi over the recommended 32psi. It gives me a sharper ride and I don't feel the lag in the corners like I do with the lower pressure. They are amazing in both wet and dry. Sticky as hell in both conditions that I tend to take corners at a quicker speed with 100% confidence in the tyres, and they have not let me down once with this.
They are sports tyres so they are softer and they are not meant to last as long or give you as good economy or be super quiet with road noise, BUT I am very pleased that with my car they have lasted for so long, my hwy economy is 38-42mpg with aircon on, and road noise is not out of the ordinary (quiet enough to have a conversation. Having said that it depends a lot on your car construction vs tyres, my car is going to be noisier than my brothers 2008 Honda Accord Euro that is running the same tyres)
I have owned Maxxis, yokis & supercats (never ever, ever again supercat) in the past and this is the first sports tyres I've had on any of my cars and it's well worth the money I spent. These RE002s have been the best tyres I've owned, the cheapest I've every bought tyres for (thank you costco) and the longest lasting I've had by a long mile.
Highly recommended. especially for a FWD medium car

Given 97% while driving a Nissan almera 1.5 (195/60 R15 H) on a combination of roads for 30,000 average miles
Best tyres i had in these size. Good shoulders, making cornering very good in dry and wet. Very quiet. Will surely buy again.

Given 90% while driving a Honda S2000 (225/50 R16) on a combination of roads for 1,000 spirited miles
Better grip and feedback in the wet and dry than the RE050A that it replaces and a touch more dry focused than the S001. Their sidewalls are quite solid and they're not the lightest tyre although they're reasonably quiet and comfortable, with compliant tread. If comfort, as opposed to control, is your top priority then the Adrenalin RE002 may not be ideal for you (try a Turanza or something from Continental instead.) They can feel a bit squishy when first fitted, but that wears off within a few hundred miles and then they're confidence inspiring. In an S2000 in dry conditions it's very hard to find their limits on the road. Highly recommended for sporty driving in any weather (but not ice and snow).

Given 97% while driving a Audi A4 2.0 TDI 140 SLine (205/55 R16 W) on a combination of roads for 2,000 spirited miles
Excellent grip in wet and dry, i tend to drive quickly and with the car chipped putting 170bhp through the front wheels the previous falken eco runs used to lose traction. No such problems with the adrenaline, the traction control light is no longer constantly winking at me! The tyres are also remarkably quiet and comfortable. I cant comment on wear yet but so far very happy and will be buying again, recommended.

Given 90% while driving a Toyota Altis (235/40 R18) on a combination of roads for 1,875 average miles
Bought this amazing tires last july 2014

all I can say is wow.. I can drive spiritedly when it rains. Dry grip? Phenomenal! Ride is not that jarring even when I am on 18s wheels and TEIN lowering springs.

Way way better than Dunlop SP Sport 01

Given 96% while driving a Honda S2000 (205/55 R16 W) on mostly town for 200 spirited miles
Excellent tyres for an S2000, with more dry and wet grip, feel and comfort when compared to the RE050A they replace. The increased comfort may just be due to the 5mm of additional tread, but the grip and handling is impressive and increase my confidence.
