This is my second baby BMW (s1) - both have come with brigestone tyres and I acnt say I'm a fan. The wear has been awful with no more than circa 12k out of a pair of rear tyres (rear wheel drive car), ride comfort is adequate but on first opportunity I have switched the acr over to Goodyear Performance which have given much greater ride comfort, improved the handling and provided much better handling in boith wet and dry conditions. The wear from Goodyear has been significantly greater than these Bridgestone tyres. I don't know if the Bridgestone are a softer compound but in 25 years of driving I have never had a puncture until I got my first BMW with Bridgestones - in the last 4 years with 2 sets of Bridgestones I have had 4 punctures from nails and screws - now you could say that could be down to bad luck but interestingly nothing since switching to Goodyears. Given the choice I would avoid Bridgestone tyres and certianly wouldn't recommend these.

Great tyres, but down to the wear indicators in 10k miles. I normally get 25k out of the rear tyres on my car.

I like the tyres but on the wet they don't offer much security. I know the car is heavy (mazda 6) but for factory tyres i was expecting much more.

As I said, not bad tires, just uncomfortable and loud for me. For your first class car these tires are perfect choice, as you said.

Second set of these brilliant tyres on 2006 Mazda MX5. Dry grip is superb, the sidewalls are quite firm but I like that. Got about 25,000 miles out of them which is pretty good. They have worn evenly, but that's more to do with the MX5. I highly recommend these, I don't get all the poor reviews, must be crap cars that don't handle properly.

It's only 6000km is used, wear is not significant, safe but very uncomfortable and loud tire. Factory assembly, a new car, but the Pirelli winter was much more comfortable and quieter. Unlike the name is not a good point to go touring with them. I'm thinking of something comfortable and quiet rubber exchange.

Came as std fit on 2016 civic tourer auto done 10k miles on them had some aquaplaning on the back end tyres are very pressure sensitive and ride suffers from only 1psi drop as does fuel economy and grip levels. In the dry they cling on well enough and well outlast experiences with continental at same mileage not as wooden as Michelin either. Handle deep water better than great condition despite keeping heat in the tyre well does take time to experiment and find optimum pressure setting for tyres on car for best all round economy life and grip. Have 70% on fronts left and about 80-85% rear left will rotate when serviced would expect to do 3yrs and 30k miles on the one set before replacement mix of town and motorway loaded and empty. Overall not too bad for the tyres and returning 35mpg overall for petroll auto drop of 14% from manufacturers figures which you never meet anyway.

Not good behaviour on wet surface.

Deathtrap. That's an apt word for these tyres. They came as stock with a new Mazda 6 Tourer. It beggars belief that they would decide to put these useless pieces of rubber on their cars. Wheel spin when setting off and loss of traction on bends even at moderate speeds. In the wet they are simply appalling and it is like driving on an ice rink. If we get any snow or ice, I may have to leave the car at home. The worst tyres I have ever had.

I had these tyres for 3 years and 45000km.The tyres are enough good in dry road but not good in wet.In addition if you go fast in corners is like skis in Ice slope!I changed it with michelin crossclimate

Noisy and hard ride will replace soon but have only completed 2000 miles so far. 17 inch wheels need soft side wall with this suspension for more comfort. Could go to 50 section on Goodyear.

Moderate in the wet (greek) roads.
