Falken FK452 Reviews

Given 92% (breakdown) while driving a BMW (225-40-18-)
Driving on a combination of roads for 1,000 spirited miles
Fantastic tyre for the money. Performs easily as well as 'premium' tyres costing twice as much. Quiet, comfortable, sticky - what else can you ask from a tyre? Too early to judge how well they wear, but even if they don't last quite as long as other tyres, they're still better value for money.

Driving on mostly country roads for 13,000 average miles
I got these as a replacement for the P-Zero nero's i previously had on the back of my 200sx. They have lasted 13'000 miles of mainly nation speed limit a and b roads. they have never missed a beat and are by far as goods as T1r's.

They impressed me in the snow too, they stood up to 50 miles a day of snow covered country roads, the only issue was the were useless at reversing in the snow.

Given 83% (breakdown) while driving a BMW E46 M3 CS (255-35-18-)
Driving on a combination of roads for 12,000 spirited miles
Very competent all round tyre offering good value for money.
Have just bought another set using them on the back of an E46 M3. Will probably also put them on the front when time comes for that as well.

Given 90% (breakdown) while driving a Audi A4 2.0 TDI 140 SLine (215-55-16-)
Driving on a combination of roads for 50 spirited miles
Fitted to a chipped Audi A4 TDI - Very good grip in both wet & dry conditions, summer tyre so not fantastic on snow & ice (but theyre not designed for that).
Very quiet tyre making them nice on long motorway runs, good sidewall rim protection. Decent levels of comfort. Ive tried all the big brands inc mitchelin, Dunlop, continental etc but to be honest the Falkens are just as good at a fraction of the price.
I buy these time and time again.

Given 81% (breakdown) while driving a BMW (225-40-18-W)
Driving on mostly country roads for 7,000 spirited miles
Had them before on Rear, Kumho Ecsta 712 in front. Lasted about the same, driving about for a year on twisty country roads. Bought Full set of FALKEN FK 452 and rear ones are nearly done after about 6000-7000 miles... As I drive alone and fast, rear passengers side is done ( inside of tyre eaten of) but both rears near bold. Front ones do not so bad. Overally good tyres, for good price, holds good on WET, much Better than cheaper Nankang NS2.
But If You drive fast, dont expect them to last... I killed my rears in approx 4 month and 7000miles :(

Driving on a combination of roads for 6,000 spirited miles
Recently put these on my BMW Z4 replacing Vredestein Ultrac Sessantas - big mistake. The Vredesteins provide better grip wet and dry, are quieter and provide better comfort. They are also more resistant to tyre induced roll, and i believe they last longer.
I've saved about £8 per tyre over the Vredesteins, but I will definately be going back to them! The Vredesteins can be compared to Goodyear F1 Asymmetrics, the Falkens I assume are only good when compared against budget end tyres.

Driving on a combination of roads for 100 spirited miles
Only done 100 miles on these tyres but they are a big improvement on my last set, which were Nexen N3000's which were worn and starting to lose grip on bends. Driving now brings a smile to my face, thanks to the FK452's! A bargain of a tyre,(£289.70 for 4 delivered from Camskill.co.uk ordered them at 7.20 Wednesday nite and they arrived at 11.45 on Friday!) and made in Japan too. I had a local garage fit them for me for £12.00 a tyre. They seem slightly noisier but its a fair trade off for the extra grip. The side walls seem stiffer than the Nexen's but give a more comfotable ride. Even the wife likes them!! They look great too. I decided on these after reading the reviews on here and honestly speaking, for the price they are a phenominal tyre. Put some on your car and put a smile on your face too! Thanks Falken.

Falken FK452 is an excelent tyre, the best value for money in tyres out there today.

The Michelin Pilot Sport 2+3 is without doubt the best tyre in the world. The Falken's FK452 are half the price and not too far behind them. Truly great tyre.

Five stars *****
