BHP: Now 170 BHP (remapped from 140)

These have been fitted to the rears at 131,373 Miles and I have now done 5000 Miles in them since (I have my previous and first review on this tyre below under same format as this review). After 5k and they are down to 7mm(8mm when new) and wearing evenly, at this rate they should last 30k (I wont get carried away yet). But still performing very strong and still keep the rear end of the Audi glued to the road.

Given 94% while driving a Audi RS6 Quattro (255/30 R19 W) on a combination of roads for 20,000 spirited miles
The advantage of RS6 quattro is that all four tyres pretty much wear evenly so when you replace you replace all four and have fantastic grip from the start to end.

The PS2 is simply the best tyre you can buy for dry and wet performance and with the awesome power of hte RS6 only a handful of tyres can be recommended to replace but the PS2 is the tyre of choice.

Miw that the PS3 has been launched I think its time to try what Michelin claim is a better tyre in the wet and lasts 10% longer in the PS3.

Given 94% while driving a Alfa Romeo 156 GTA (with Q2) (225/45 R17) on a combination of roads for 15,000 spirited miles
I've never used a better tyre than the ps2, They have so much grip, I've driven on tracks with single seater racers and these are the only tyres that get close to that amount of grip, Best tyre out there.

Amazing tyre! Far better than Conti Sport Contact 2's and 3's I have had! Car chipped to 240bhp, the Conti's would spin in 2nd on a wet road under full power, the PS2 just grip - I'm blown away by the difference. They are more comfortable and quiet by far, yet give amazing feedback around the bends. Straight line breaking wet or dry is spot on as well. 3000 miles of mixed driving and no noticeable drop in performance or tread depth. I've had the Conti's on 3 Golf's now, just replacing them with the same each time - what a mistake I wish I had made the move to PS2's earlier! Can't recommend them enough and no I don't work for Michelin before you ask - just pleased to be able to report about a tyre the performs far better than the rest (on a front wheel drive Golf Mk5)!

Vehicle: Audi A4 2.0 Tdi S Line

These have been fitted to the rears at 131,373 Miles and I have now done 1000 Miles in them. Fronts have Bridestone Potenza RE050A (5mm tread left)and so far the tyres feel amazing and grip the rear like I have not seen before. The rear of the car is stuck to the road at all times wet or dry. I will update on this post when I replace the fronts with PS2 but so far so good and the tyres were 170 quid fitted per tyre.

I've only just put 4 new the Micheline PS2s on my 2.0 Tfsi TT replacing the OEM Bridgestone Re 050As. Initial thoughts are that the PS2 are quite a bit quieter and more comfortable than the RE 050A. Dry weather grip is perhaps 10% better and wet weather grip so far seems about 10% better too but its hard to tell as I got 35,000 miles out of the Re050A's so they were well worn at the end which makes comparissons difficult. The RE 050A were excellent on Track in Mondello where I took them to bin them but I was able to get another 5 months out of them after a full afternoon track session. I will be putting the PS2's to the sword in like fashion the only question is when? I doubt they will last as long as the Re 050As but that's the trade off for more grip and less road noise.

Outstanding grip on curvy roads, communicative and predicatable at the limits of adhesion. Yes, expensive but will replace with same.

Excellent, considering the power going through these tyres and the way I drive (spirited shall we say) I still got 25000 miles out of the rears on this. Great grip from 8mm to 2mm tread. Expensive but worth every penny.Rubbish in snow though but this is a summer tyre.

Best high performance tire on the market. Worth the price. I spend a fair ammount if time on the track with this car and these tires are the best I've had. I have tried so-3's, ADVAN, pzero, ps1s couple models also but none were as good as these. So-3's being in my opinion the next best. On the plus side this compound remains grippy throughout the life of the tire and really holds up well against extreme heat from a track. Sure they don't last long (6-7k on the rears 11k front roughly) but that is to be expected from a high performance tire. So I can't knock the tires for that really. If you have a high perfomance Car and really want to drive it the way it was ment to be driven then these are the tires for you. Enthuasists only. I wouldn't recommend these tires to a casual driver as they are expensive and you won't notice a huge difference in everyday driving from a say so-3 (saving a bit of money). I really want to compliment the sidewalls of the tires as they really are second to none. These babies stack up against track only tires while giving you outstanding wet performance. Whatever car a the time is my best performance machine will only get Michelin ps2s until they come out with the models replacement. I'll save the tinkering with tires on other vehicles.

Given 94% while driving a Porsche 986 Boxster S (265/35 R18 W) on a combination of roads for 34,000 spirited miles
42,000 miles on my 2005 Porsche Boxster S and I'm recently put on the 3rd set of tires. They're slightly fragil when road or driveway conditions are concerned, but dry ttraction was never in question. When pushed very hard, they communicated their intentions with clarity. I don't push as hard in the wet, but still verrrry good traction. Braking and steering feel also are excellent, (No understeer until stupid sets in). Tire noise is never an issue.
While on a 6,800 mile 2 week vacation I had a sidewall bulge on the L/F. Replaced 2 fronts with Nitto 235/35ZR19 and the grip loss was obvious. 35 series tires must be treated with care as potholes and concrete expansion have both caused me failures, (1 bulge & 1 bead cut).
Mileage is quite acceptable for the way I drive and the places. 10k to 20k miles should be expected for a 3,000 lb. car driven briskly.
I'll continue to buy these tires for this car.

Given 100% while driving a Audi A4 Avant 2.0T Quattro (235/40 R18 W) on a combination of roads for 21,000 spirited miles
I was pleasantly surprised to find these tires were factory-equipped on my S-Line Ti A4 Avant (basically the same tire that came factory-equipped on my Porsche Cayman S!). Used as three season tires, I have been so pleased with the way they have performed that I find it very difficult to buy anything else as a replacement (even with the high price point). Many may question (including me) putting such a high $$, high performance tire on a daily driver that won't see an auto-x or road course, but I gotta say that with the way these tires hold and communicate, the resulting high confidence level from behind the wheel (when it matters most) makes them worth every penny. Another noteworthy item Given the PS2s are a max performance category tire, I was impressed with the life I got out of them (>20,000 miles is HUGE for a max performance/summer tire). And when I approached the wear indicators, tire noise, present on every max performance tires I have ever owned, was virtually non-existent. Nice job Michelin.

Given 94% while driving a Mercedes Benz C55 Sedan (245/40 R18 W) on mostly country roads for 10,000 spirited miles
I drive a 2005 Mercedes C55 AMG Kleemann S7 (over 450rwhq) - This by far, bar none is the best tire I have ever owned. The grip that this provides over other tires I have had on the car is biblical in comparison. Either on the autocross track (gritty surface to blacktop), this tire grips. I guess the best explination would be highlighted when I am on the bleeding edge of grip around a turn...at the point that most tires would break loose, these tires just hold on. I cant tell you how many times I have thought to myself, man, how the -------- did those tires grip like that...
As impressive as they are on a nice summer dry day, they are equally impressive in the rain. If you have a car with traction problems (yes you cobra's, vettes, merc's) ...higher TQ cars ... these are the tires for you. 10+ ...if this was the bar, nothing would ever be up to standard.
