Given 21% while driving a Audi A4 2.0 TDI 140 SLine (225/45 R17) on a combination of roads for 1,000 average miles
This make of tyre should be made illegal in this country. I bought them as I was skint at the time on an audi a4 £50 each fitted. It ruined my car I used them for about 1000 miles then had to buy some new tyres. The wet grip is that dangerous they should not sell them. Bald decent tyres are better than new ones of these even ones below the 1.6mm tread would be better. DO NOT BUY EVER

Given 29% while driving a Renault Laguna 3 (225/45 R18 W) on a combination of roads for 1,000 average miles
Hi all, I had a pair of these fitted to the rear of my car as Xmas was round the corner and i didnt want to be left short on £££ if i keep with the Michelins that came with the car (£210each) anyway i am a volvo main dealer car mechanic since 1998 and I would say I no my stuff, firstly these tyres are very cheap at £110 for the pair.
Secondly if you are on a budget and are a town driver then these tyres are fine for the price.
I recently drove 220 miles to Manchester and back in my 2009 FWD laguna. These tyres are fine at legal speed limits but once I got to the 90 mark the back end was fighting my steering wheel on straight line roads.
I could go on that these tyres are awful but the fact of the matter is these tyres are fine if you stay within the speed limits and don't have money to burn on O.E Tyres like Mich, Conti & Dunlop !
Please take into account the price per corner, be realistic you are paying for a budget tyre don't expect F1 performance from them as you are going to be very disappointed indeed !

Given 36% while driving a Peugeot 207 GT (205/45 R17) on mostly country roads for 9,000 average miles
had a brand new set of these on the front of my 207 gt when i bought it, now im not gonna lie but i would be classed as a fast driver, i dont speed and i do drive by the conditions however, im classed as a little quick of the mark and accelerate hard too, at first the tyres were ok, however as soon as i fitted coilovers they couldnt cope, coilovers stiffen the ride, and i found that the tyre couldnt cope with the diffrence in force applied to it when the car tried bouncing,

but the worse thing about these are when it gets wet, as soon as theres even the lightest rain, slow down and take your time, these have near to no grip when it gets wet, sliding, locking up under light braking,

after fitting my coilovers i only had them another week before i changed to toyo t1-r's for the front, so much better, however there more expensive,

now in my eyes if you have a fwd car then these will be fine for the back, however i dont think they can cope with doing the steering and the power at the same time, my fwd 207 was remmaped to 220bhp, think that was to much tbh, if you have less than 130bhp i think you'll be fine

Given 97% while driving a Ford fusion (225/45 R17 P) on a combination of roads for 250 average miles
the 618 is a good road tire, I am a truck driver and front end control is a must on wet roads. If you are going to drive like NASCAR then buy tires for racing? They look good feel good and are good on wet roads.Use your head not your FOOT??.

Given 70% while driving a Ford Mondeo (205/50 R17 W) on a combination of roads for 15,000 average miles
I have done about nearly 15000 miles on 4 of these tyres and have found them to be perfectly fine in all weathers, despite some of the scaremongering pedalled by Boy Racers and 'Retread Teenagers' who obviously watch too much Top Gear.
I have never 'had it sideways' or 'fishtailed' the back end. However, I can tell you that I certainly don't pootle around at 30 mph everywhere either.
You tailor your driving to suit the road and weather conditions, anything else belongs on the race track. You have only got to see the cars that are driven by a lot of the people who submit these reviews(Imprezza's, Alfa GTV's, Mustang's,EVO's,etc), to get an idea of the type of drivers they are.
I actually saw one review where a guy was complaining that he nearly lost the back end when exceeding 30 mph on a roundabout. Anyone who does those kinds of speeds on a roundabout is frankly an idiot.

Had a set of these on my e36 328 that i had owned for 5 weeks lost controll on a corner in the wet that i have been round hundreds of times before with better tyres at same speed ended up bouncing of a kerb destroying the back end of the car these tyres gave no warning what so ever when the lost grip they are utter garbage and have turned out to be the most costly set of tyres i have ever bought STAY AWAY these tyres in the wet may aswell he made from candlewax!!!

I had these tyres on for 3 days and pulled them off before I ended up in a ditch. Stay away and pay the extra few quid for safe tyres

Given 70% while driving a Mitsubishi FTO (215/35 R18) on a combination of roads for 3,000 spirited miles
Had these on my 200BHP mitsubishi FTO running some slight negative camber and tbh I am amazed at the poor ratings! well, the wet these give me no confidence at all, often spinning up but in the dry I thought for a budget tyre they are fantastic! seriously I had lots of confidence in them in the dry, almost as much as my old set of paradas! seemed heard wearing enough also. but in all fairness, they are rubbish int the wet however I drive sensibly in the wet and didnt have any huge issues.
