For the virtually the same price as a pair of low end Firestones I picked up a pair of these tyres after reading the reviews on this website. I was somewhat dubious that they could match the hype given the low cost (£123 delivered for the pair) however after driving 500 miles on them in dry conditions, damp conditions and torrential rain I can safely say they have exceeded my expectations on every front.
The grip in the wet is amazing, I have the confidence to carry at least 10mph more through the bends. They have virtually killed all understeer (although, to be fair, understeer has rarely been a problem in my current car)
The water clearing abilities are where I have noticed the most difference, and being a FWD car, is where the understeer was most frequently encountered. To be honest, unless you are driving through deep puddles, the car may as well be in the dry. The biggest issue I have now, is the fact my back tyres are not as capable in the wet my front end trip is so good I have to pay more attention to my back end when going around a roundabout!
My criticisms of the tyres are fairly inconsequential. I have only driven 500 miles on them so far so I can't really comment about tyre wear - they look maybe a little bit more worn than my most recent looked after 500 miles, however I have been driving a lot more aggressively since putting them on - and my last set were a rear set so the type of tyre wear is completely different.
The other criticism could be leveled at comfort - when they were first fitted they were a little bit harder than most, however they soon wore in. They also make a much lower pitched squeal when you get them to slide.
However, these are very very minor criticisms and I am definitely planning on fitting these tyres from now on.
Several people have commented on how much they like the tread pattern too.

Nice looking tyre, decent tread pattern, looks just as good as the leading brands and does just as good as job. Have only had them on for a short time so can't comment as to their life span but very happy so far. Would definately recommend them for value for money. A great tyre at a reasonable price.
Exelent! Looking for summer tires of the same make!

bought these to replace the pirellis that i fitted on my car. Infinatly better than pzero rossos. The grip in the dry was fantastic. The grip in the wet made the road feel like it was dry. the ware rate was pretty good as well with one lasting 25k miles on the front of my mondeo zetec s, the other sadly failed in its prime after hitting a 1.5 meter long 8cm deep pothole at 70mph! They have good size rim protectors as well. They were as good as goodyears F1 GSD3s but were cheaper .

After driving many cars on many makes of tyre for the last 20 years, for the wear rate, grip, handling and value for money, I would totally recommend this tyre. I rotated the tyres and have achieved 35000 miles on a set of 4 with no incident, whilst maintaining an active driving style for commuting and general life. Have just ordered another set of 4 for the next stint and looking after 2 new family members.

Got these on my Mondeo. Had them on an Astra, on a Vectra, and my folks have them on a Mazda 2. I recommend them to anyone.
I've tried all the "best" tyres including the Goodyear Eagle F1-A, Vredestein Ultrac, Hankook Ventus Prime and the likes, and I keep on coming back to the ER300.

Impressed so far, even though only fitted a short time ago they inspire confidence I never had in the P6000s

Changed out from Conti Sport Contact 2. The Mondeo is a big heavey car and the Conti's were done in on the front at 13k miles. The 912's feel great and I've noticed no loss of traction dry or wet and noise levels are if anything a bit quieter with the 912's. I have found that they drive through standing water with no drama and no sense of aquaplaning.
I will definately be buying these again.

The grip on wet and dry roads was fantastic, better than the OE conti sport contact 2 that were fitted to my Mondeo zetec s TDCI. the pair i put on the front lasted almost 25k and the pair on the back 45k. I really couln't fault them, so much so, i put another pair on the front.
