Had a full set of Nanoenergy 3's on for the last 15,000 miles approx and they are great tyres. For what they are, reasonably priced mid-sized vehicle touring tyres, they do the job and let me drive confidently and comfortably. Real strengths in good predictable grip wet or dry. Although they may not be as grippy as the most expensive tyres in the segment, for the price they do very well especially at sensible road speeds. Braking performance with ABS is solid while noise levels and ride comfort meet my expectations of a premium touring tyre.

Only thing I will say is that while on the front of the car the tyres do seem to be wearing a bit faster than I would like, but my A4 is a front wheel drive and I do like tend to push through the corners a bit faster so I do ask quite a bit of them.

Overall a great tyre and I would consider fitting another set of the same to my second car when the time comes.

Bought these tyres march 2016 so here comes the review after 40,000 odd kms:-

Dry Grip:- Fantastic. Similar to the first day fitted.
Wet Grip:- Pay attention to the tyre pressure. Drop the tyres a a few PSI's and it handles the wets very well.
Road Feedback:- A bit numb. But it is a touring tyre after all. It does tell you when it lets go albeit slowly
Handling:- It lets go progressively at the dry and wet. Very predictable
Wear:- Extremely well! Easily around 1.5cm's of thread left. I do rotate the tyres fairly regularly.
Comfort:- I've begun to find the tyre to much louder and crashier than before, to the point that I will be contemplating to have them swapped for 2 pairs of Kumho Ventus Primes (As recommended by tyre review). Again this is after 2 years of hot equatorial climates with rather rough roads in south east asia.

surprisingly well balanced tyres, for an eco tyre an at this price range the performance is more than adequate for most everyday drivers.. grips well in both dry & wet. plus the added comfort in terms of quietness is just bliss..

Overall not a bad tyre. Had this tyre on my BMW e92 325i coupe and Toyota Estima 2.4 for almost a year. Dry grip was overall good, but the wet grip is a scary experience when emergency break. Wear is one of the good stuffs this tyre got, thus the comfor is slightly compromised. I wont say I will buy again for my BMW due to my spiritual driving character.

Good tyres. Much better improvement on previous Kumho Ecsta KU31.

Bought these online a few months back as I wanted to move from 15" wheels down to 14's and have a bigger sidewall for a bit of extra comfort (previous tyre was 195/50/15) I opted for the toyo nano energy 3 as it was only €160ish delivered from the deamontweeks for a full set of 4 which is miles cheaper than buying local, also the fact I prefer toyo tyres over most other brands so will always buy them if I can.

Initial review - I taught I had made a terrible mistake! Driving in Jan/Feb when the weather is pretty cold and the roads are constantly wet the handling was absolutely awful, the car would over steer at any sort of speed going into roundabouts and just didn't inspire confidence whatsoever! Fast forward about month and 1000kms or so later they were getting a little less twitchy in wet conditions and another couple of months and another few thousand kms more and they seemed to bed right in. Now it's summer and pretty much always warm with the occasional rain shower I have the upmost confidence in them wet or dry, the only flaw I can find now is they tend to squeal like a pig going to slaughter if pushed hard in the dry but they never seem to break traction.

So overall I'm very pleased with them for the price and apart from the sort of "break in" period and the squealing when pushed hard in the dry I can't really complain. The ride quality is good if somewhat a little floaty but they are a 65 profile tyre after all but the road noise is nowhere near as bad as the T1R or R888 which I've used in the past. Fuel economy seems to have dropped slightly but maybe that's just me driving harder as I have the confidence to push the car on a bit.

So far I've done about 5000kms and there doesn't seem to be any sign of wear but I'll see if that changes by the end of the summer after some more spirited driving.

Overall I'd give them a 7.5/10

Very good dry & wet grip, Low road noise on any road surfaces. Low rolling resistance while driving; mileage improved slightly. The overall ride comfort is fantastic. These tyres are amazing. Highly recommended.

Had NanoEnergy 3s fitted for a couple of weeks now and have put almost 1000km on them. They replaced a set of Continental PremiumContact 2s which were a very good tyre that lasted surprisingly long (65,000km). The NanoEnergy 3 is significantly quieter than the Continental and grip levels feel similar (possibly more grip with the Toyos) with a special mention to wet grip which is exceptional for a touring tyre – the Toyos get four water evacuation grooves compared to the Conti's three.
The NanoEnergy's again are very quiet and are very comfortable, but do give a 'boatier' feel than the Contis did: they are more comfortable, but less involving as they give less direct feedback. The Toyos also have a 420 treadwear rating compared to the Conti's 280, which should mean they will last a fair bit longer than the Contis did. Overall however, I am extremely happy with the NanoEnergy 3s and will continue to use them on my cars.

Amazing dry grip, excellent wet grip, totally quiet#, rubbery supple ride, good low wear rate. I think Toyo have really nailed it with the Nanoenergy 3, they have proven to be snmooth and quiet with amazing grip both in the dry and in the wet. I live east of Melbourne Australia in the Mt Dandenong Ranges (hills) its cold and wet most of the year so I wanted a tyre for my W123 Mercedes Benz 230E that would give great wet weather grip but also for cray hot weather too, a good level of conmfort, and be a low rolling resistance eco tyre, and Toyo Nanoenergy does all this with ease! #If they had a fault I would say they make some ripping or tearing noise when cornering tight hairpin bends at break-neck speeds, but that's my only issue. Toyo... Well done indeed :D
