Metzeler ROADTEC 01 rated 93% while driving a Kawasaki GTR 1400
Driving on mostly country roads for 12000 spirited miles
On a Kawasaki GTR1400, I have tried the Michelin Road Pilot 4, and Pirelli Angel GT + and the Metzler Road Tech 01 really stood out for being more compliant over poor chopped up road surfaces like our Australian country roads. No complaints in the wet or dry. A confidence inspiring all round tyres. Vibration free too unlike last set of Pirelli Angel GT +.

Brilliant tyres.i ride 2018 fireblade. Dry n wet riding no problems, bike goes n stays were you want it to. Ride it hard at times. Just starting to flatten of after 8k miles so still mileage left in them. Will definitely use them again. K Hodgson.

Avon Storm 3D XM rated 100% while driving a Kawasaki zx9r
Driving on a combination of roads for 6000 spirited miles
I'm on a kawasaki zx9r and I've gone to these tyres following three sets of the storm 2 ultras, mileage on both have been similar between 5-7000, 7000 if you stick to back lanes and twisties, I take these tyres right to the edge within the first hundred miles on a dry road, I've done the NC500 in pouring rain three times, one of those the water was actually bouncing inches off the road it was that heavy and the tyre never flackered even at 80+ mph so god knows what the rest of these people expect from a tyre in the wet. I've had the majority of makes over the years on this bike and others over 750 cc and once these are warm they stick like s*it to a blanket at any speed, I also ride throughout the Winter and though they do take longer to reach temperature the only slide I've had was in dodging a pullout not a mile from my home as I momentarily locked up the back end, the car braked and stopped right in front of me as I slithered into it till releasing both brakes and swerving around the guy. I have years of experience, was a dispatch rider for in London for several of those, I don't hang about in any conditions and for an all round winter summer sports/tourer tyre these are phenomenal on this size/weight of bike. I notice the whiners on here were on lardarse busa's and what I would call an 'adventure' bike, no these tyres very likely didn't suit an off road machine pootling along and not getting warm or an overweight fugly and anyone comparing a bridgestone to these is out of their depth, get your suspension set up properly and ride it like you nicked it and these are top totty.

Bridgestone S20 rated 24% while driving a Kawasaki z1000
Driving on a combination of roads for 4000 spirited miles
Bridgestone S20's were OEM on my 2019 Z1000sx tourer. The S20's were tolerable for the first 1500 miles. Lasted 4000 miles before being changed for Dunlop Roadsmart 2's. (Great tyre in wet n dry. Will be fitting these again to the Z1000). After almost twice the mileage of the Bridgestone, the Dunlops have more wet n dry grip than the Bridgestones were when new! (Lasted 7.5 k miles,) Also had the Bridgestones on my Daytona 955i when i bought it, which were equally shyte, and were replaced by Michelin pilot 2CTs which lasted 5k miles. (Old tech but a great value tyre!) Will be fitting the Pilot 2CT's again, exceptionally good in the wet and dry.

Bridgestone Battlax Hypersport S20 rated NAN% while driving a Kawasaki
Driving on for 3000 miles
Yyre came as OE on my Z1000sx. These are by far the worst tyre i have had on s bike for a very long time. No confidence in them at all other than when the bike is being ridden in a straight line except when crossing white lines, then it shakes its head and weaves all over the place.. In the dry I've had the rear lose traction while cornering on more than one occasion Heaven knows how bad they are in the wet. Fortunately I'm a fair weather biker nowadays so haven't had that experience. The rear only lasted 3000 miles. 2999 too many but hey I'm not wasting rubber. Front faired a little better. I'm hating my new bike at the moment and really hope once I've got better tyres on it things will improve. Sadly not these S20rs. Dreadful, dreadful tyre.

Bridgestone Battlax BT016 Pro Hypersport rated 53% while driving a Honda Fireblade 1000
Driving on mostly country roads for 450 spirited miles
Just bought a rr8 blade and came with them on. They’re a few years old and probably had a 1000 or so miles on, and look like they’ve never leaned further than the side stand, so it’s probably an unfair review. I rode 300 miles of mainly motorway on the way home and at motorway speed(ish), and they felt okay. The following day I checked the pressures, squeezed into my 1piece and went for a 130 mile blast around the Dorset B roads. I find they struggle with feel and feedback and don’t give me confidence to lean as far as I’ve had on previous tyres (I’ve had s21’s and Diablo Rosso 3’s for the road, plus used sc2 supercorsa’s and R10’s on track) Overall, it’s a pretty average tyre. Nothing TOO wrong with them, but not for me and my riding style. I’ll be going for a set of S22’s ASAP...
