pay the extra get kumho ecstas- much better, these slide around too much and can't handle any form of acceleration on wet surfaces. On the plus they are quieter then ecstas and due to the tread design they do cut through standing water better - I will be paying a little extra and going back to ecstas next time

I have had 3 pairs of these tires and feel them to be a very safe buy. They give lots of feedback and I know wet or dry exactly how much more grip is available. Best of all is the feel though - they have a nice solid straight ahead feel on the road. I have also used the similar tread pattern Pireli P6 (not the 4 seasons reviewed here) which actually grip a little better - but feel a lot worse - they feel over inflated and light without that nice solid straight ahead feel - but really grip well despite this. So I feel more comfortable with the Kumho's, ButI would like a little better grip in the wet - they become better in the dry and worse in the wet with wear. I don't know for sure what I will buy next time around - on the front I won't get more than 15,000 miles out of these - I might try the Ecsta KU31's next

front tyres are looking good at 11000 miles and should be ok for the same again. grip seems fine but i am not a fast driver.

Have replaced the set of 4 original Goodyear tyres on my 2004 54 reg Civic that were found to be noisy and hard and wore out after less than 16,000 miles with a set of the Kumho tyres. The change was immediate! Very quiet and smooth with no 'vibration' feedback through the steering as before. Very good in the recent bad rains - gives full confidence, and have so far shown a slight improvement in fuel consumption. I have not yet undertaken a long motorway run, but on roads I have to use (Scottish Borders) they have been brilliant. Too early to report on wear, but I would certainly recommend them and would not hesitate to buy again.

Only an idiot would put these on a Porshe! Absolutely fine on a 7 seater and half the price of the OEM Primacy which is nothing special.

I put a set of these onto my 944S on the recommendation of the team at my local (not a national chain) tyre supplier; they told me that one of their team was a grass-roots racer and that he was delighted about these tyres.
I trusted their opinion and bought 4...
Disasterous! My car suddenly had understeer, where before it was beautifully neutral. There was no warning about the rear end breaking away and precious little feel when trying to get it back again. The performance in the wet was even worse and made my car frankly terrifying.
I've been driving for 20 years & have never experienced tyres affecting the performance of a car like these Kumho's did - I was shocked to say the least.
I approached the shop that had recommended them and after much discussion they agreed to upgrade to a better tyre, charging me only for the diffeence in price. I would like to say that this was great service but they whinged continuously and tried to make me feel like a bad person for not thinking the Kumho's were wondeful - to cap it all they didn't balance the wheels properly and I had to pay to get it rectified elsewhere - I'm not going to 'name and shame' because that's not fair, but suffice to say they've lost a customer for life...
I've just read that the all weather version of this tyre the KH16 has just become OE on all new Ford Focuses - all I can say is good luck because these things stink...
I wouldn't use these tyres again...
