Fitted these as a cheap option whilst trying to sort out an ongoing suspension tracking problem that had cost me 4 new avons in 13 months. Problem finally sorted and pz900's still in place. Used them at high speed and in various conditions and loads and have not been disappointed, especially the cost £320 for 4 tires all fitted + balanced. Not sure yet for wear life and if I would buy again. Down side - A VERY NOISY TYRE.

Put simply these are budget tires and are HARD compound, meaning if you're looking for a good mileage tire then these are for you. If you have any kind of sportscar then steer clear of these tires, their traction is absolute garbage if you have power and you will spin through gear changes on the street without trying.

Street, dry, fairly decent grip... for the price, however I still spin the tires through 1st and 2nd under 45mph which is appalling. Compared to other tires the noise is minimal, and tread wear is impressive considering how much I've spun these tires, but again these are 420 tread rating and hard.

Street, wet, honestly driving with these in the rain scares me, if I go outside of its boundaries even once the tires lose all traction and I begin to slide.

Dragstrip, dry, To put it bluntly, do not use these tires if you plan to drag race... EVERY launch I did over 2k revs was making them spin like crazy in first gear, and this is after I had used Bridgestone Potenzas and even at a 6 grand launch I had no wheelspin. The last time I used these at the track was when I launched at 3k, spun slap through first gear and nearly got sideways...

Dragstrip, wet, NO, just DONT.

Circuit, dry, honestly I've never used a more frustrating tire on a road circuit. The squeal through every corner regardless of speed, and again because of the compound.... they lose traction very easily, I spun the car I don't know how many times and finally called it a day.

Overall.... Cheap tire, decent tread life, LOW performance. If you need a cheap tire and something to last a long time, these will do that fine... if you need a tire for performance, please get something over 100 bucks.

I threw these away after getting an "exhibition of speed" ticket from the tires chirping on a gear change. Consider yourself warned.

I have driven many vehicles on budget brands, and these out perform all of them. I have driven on them now for around 10000 miles and must say they perform really well on all surfaces and I have not noticed any annoying tire noise. I drive 'very' spirited but I rely more on experience and intelligence rather than pushing my tires to the limit. In fact these tires perform so well that I have fitted them to my girlfriends car.

Lastly:
Apparently the 'Primewell' name is owned by Pirelli (and the Pz is a Pirelli design tread pattern)

New Primewell PZ900 tyres were on the car when purchased from the dealer. The model I have has a staggered wheel arrangement - 245x35R19 front and 275x30R19 rear. I was nervous about the budget tyres that were fitted to a reasonably powerful car... and rightly so!

I've only covered about 1000 miles or so without any driving in particularly wet conditions. I owned a Focus RS for a number of years previously so guess that I have a bit of an idea about handling...

Feedback is pretty poor, with a dead feel and little idea of the road surface. With so little miles covered I've rated Dry and Wet grip 5/10 as an average... they seem to stick OK.

The most disconcerting feature is the terrible road noise!!! Constant droning, with an extreme high pitched roar between 30 and 60 mph. So bad in fact that I am changing the tyres even though they are not worn at all. The tread pattern is V cut, (directional) so will be on the noisy side but in the width that my car needs it is so pronounced, (and getting worse all the time) that it is distracting! (The directional Avon ZZ3's that I ran on the RS were not particularly noisy tyres, in a car with virtually no sound proofing).

Overall a very cheap, (around £75 for a 275x30R19 and less for the 245 fronts), terribly noisy tyre which would be best steered well clear of!

Bought four of them last 6 months. The tyre was grippy on dry road, satisfactory on wet. the car wondering from side to side when braking. which i have to hold the steering wheel hard or else i will be on the berge or hit the car beside lane. comfort not to bad which you will expect hard bounce on low profile tyre. and i notice an excessive tyre noise specially on crawl and stoping.Thought it just the brake but it not. Driven for 5000miles and its on halfway of its life already.I thought it just the alignment but it been align twice seen i had them. Buy again? definitely not anymore.....

If you want a tyre that makes your car feel disconnected to the road, wanders all over the place, increases fuel consumption, increases noise and makes your steering feel like the bushes have been replaced by sponges, then buy these tyres - you won't be disappointed as they do these things brilliantly! If you want a good tyre, stick with the original spec Pirelli's. It's not as though the Primewells are actually cheap. Sold as a mid range but perform like a budget.

was reluctant to fit these to my jag 3-0,and only been on 4 months to date, but they have been better than expected. much better than previous ZZ3's. Bit noisy and stiffer (97 load rating) and not the best in the wet,but predictable in the dry even on the limit- no sudden surprises! They have been at 130+mph (autobahn) and were steady and felt okay even with some hurried braking (dry)- too soon to judge wear. overall seem good value as they were cheap and my service guy recommended them as he also uses them. Don't know yet whether I will buy again. Will visit this review again next year to possibly update.
