Ford Focus Tyre Review Highlights

Writing about the Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2 given 100% (225-40-18-W)
Driving on a combination of roads for 15000 spirited miles
I have tried all the major brands over the years and these tyres are just incredible. Worth every penny and more. I will never fit any other tyre ever again apart from Goodyear Eagles.

Writing about the Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta given 100% (225-40-18-W)
Driving on mostly country roads for 200 spirited miles
Bought theese to replace an odd set (2 federal,1 lassa,1khumo,dunno what some people are on!)that were on the car when i bought it,i have to say the difference is like night and day,i can now put my foot down to overtake without the front wheels spinning(in the dry)and go round a bend without drifting, only had them on a few weeks but could feel the benefit leaving the fitting centre, as for wear i dont do lots of thrashed miles so should last for a while, dont really care if they dont, better than ending up upside down in a field, will deffo buy again.

Writing about the Fulda Kristall Montero 3 given 100% (165-90-15-)

Writing about the Yokohama ADVAN A460 given 94% (205-55-16-)
Driving on a combination of roads for 20000 easy going miles
i am a slow driver. so maybe in terms of grip for both wet and dry. i may not be the best person to trust.

but, last week. i had to brake really hard in the rain. swerving away from the fallen tree. then i realised how important good tyres are.

these are wonderful tyres. saved my life.

Writing about the Michelin Pilot Sport 3 PS3 given 94% (205-55-16-W)
Driving on a combination of roads for 2500 spirited miles
Very good all around Tyre, worth the little bit extra price. Extremely pleased and will purchase again.

Note: Vast improvement on my previous tyres (Michelin Primacy HP)

Writing about the Kumho IZen KW23 given 91% (195-65-15-T)
Driving on a combination of roads for 4000 average miles
I have read the reviews and decided that I must replace the front axle tyres with KUMHO .
I had TIGAR 1 91H before and driving through snow was terrible ,on ice trouble, wet spinning a lot, on dry not very fast.
Same car with KUMHO Izen23 (dot 2011 from a friend, 40% worn) different story . With snow I had no trouble, on ice much better, fast on dry pavement , fast on wet.
The tyres are heavy, sidewalls at 195/65/R15 not flexible but they delivered a no trouble winter driving experience.
This year 4 fresh KUMHO for my car absolutely

Writing about the Pirelli P6 Fourseasons given 91% (205-55-16-V)
Driving on a combination of roads for 1000 average miles
Excellent tyres. Have had them fitted to my Focus on the front and are brilliant, lots of grip in the recent snow. No noticeable tramlining and seems very quiet. Hopefully they will last a long time (might move them to the back when the springs comes to lenghten ther life).

Very impressed.

Writing about the Nexen N1000 given 90% (215-45-17-W)
Driving on a combination of roads for 500 average miles
I have fitted these to replace some good but short lived Nexen N8000. After 500 miles on sometimes flooded roads I can say great wet grip , noisier than N8000 , about the same as Khumo and Michelin, so far pleased and hope the Tyre shop owner saying that these will be longer lived proves true.
