I have fitted these to replace some good but short lived Nexen N8000. After 500 miles on sometimes flooded roads I can say great wet grip , noisier than N8000 , about the same as Khumo and Michelin, so far pleased and hope the Tyre shop owner saying that these will be longer lived proves true.

A reliable tyre at a reasonable price could do better at noise reduction on different road surfaces but after all you buy a tyre for price and longevity which you can expect 30,000 at sensible driving conditions...May be better tyres on the market but... if your happy with what you have bought and buy again why not recomend.

Bought from ATS last year and used until the Spring. Superb just wish I had fitted them years ago. No more road noise than the normal tyres on my Ford Focus and the fuel consumption which I was expecting to be worse was identical. The difference in performance between the brands isn't worth worrying about and they are all far superior during the winter than summer tyres.

I had these tyres for about a year recommended by Tony @ Pumaspeed. They are a great dry tyre loads of feel through the corners not bad in the wet but did feel a bit slippy in the very cold weather we've just had.

Came as standard on my new FOCUS TDCI running on R17s. Was advised by an employee of a tyre garage that continentals were 'poor' on wear...dunno what he was thinking of, but I've got over 21,000 out of my SP2s so far, and am only now in the process of replacing the fronts (almost at the markers) while the backs still have plenty of life left.
Good tyre, definetly will be putting on another set of these! Excellent grip in the dry, and decent enough grip in the wet. Good tyre all round.
