Very good semicheap tyres. Good controllable slides in wet. Works like dream on -91 miata with lsd. I wouldnt go with these if my car made moar kw though.

I had these on my fast road mk2 golf and they were just superb to say the least. They lasted a very long time for how much grip they give you, You can get these to squeal in the dry when driving very spirited but still stay firmly planted, All these people saying they cant be uses in the wet i never once had them twitch squirm or feel remotely hazardless don't listen to the poor reviews you know your driving limits in the wet and dry so just be careful i will be buying these again.

I wanted SO BAD to believe they are not a disaster on wet as i had red about, BUT THEY ARE! I bought them and i regret it! If it rains even a little, fun is over! I have a 250hp Bertone Turbo but even a 130hp car with proper tyres would beat me on wet asphalt! They are dangerous on wet and i regret so much i've bought them, i was foolished by the design.

sub MYR200 price (around US$65)...this is the best tyre with full of grip be it shine or rain....

running on -ve1.0 camber setup with slight over-inflated pressure to cope with soft sidewall....

if anyone looking for better gripping tyre than this, have to resort for UHP/semis tyre which is cost more than MYR250 (+- US$85).....

the only complain is loud humming noise and the soft sidewall....but for me the advantage of this tyre outweight those drawback....

since my car was FWD it took around 40,000kms to finish....but on the rear even after 100,000kms still got 70-80% of threads left....

Great dry grip, wear fast but not unexpectedly so considering how soft they are. Certainly wouldn't last long on a heavier/more powerful car!

Superb dry grip and much better in the wet, holds my 285bhp impreza very well, does wear quickly due to being sticky soft rubber and seem quiet but harsher ride than any previous tyres, there has to be a price to pay for so much grip!

The Yokohamas replaced a set of Michelin Sports, and were noticeably better in the dry, summer weather. They corner well, and when they break away it is smooth and progressive. Nothing that would worry your au-pair on the school run.

The first time the weather turned worse however, I found the tyre characteristics changed dramatically. They feel twitchy and detached in the wet as a general rule, but where they are really worrying is motorways and standing water; they aquaplane in even a few millimeters of water.

This past summer was I think the wettest on record, and apart from driving my usual mileage, I did a 1500 mile road trip through France, on fast, wet toll roads. Not pleasant.

I wouldn't buy another set whilst I live in the UK...

Brilliant tyre, used three sets now on my Ford Racing Puma and grip is amazing. As others have said not great in the wet, but what tyres are unless you pay £250 plus a corner. If pushing in the wet then front wants to slide more resulting in water not being cleared in the limited grooves creating more and more under steer. With that said I use my FRP on dry days only and this tyre is hard to beat especially considering the price (215 40 17 £80 ish)

I have a 337bhp ford focus st, it's eaten through so many tires it's unbelievable, the worst was toyo t1rs if your thinking of getting them don't, the side walls are appalling and compress whenever thrown through a bend and they lasted 2,300 miles ! a friend said I should try these and I've never looked back I'm on my 2nd set now, these lasted 11,000 miles which was impressive I'm hoping now I've had a LSD installed i'l get even more life, superb in the dry, I have every confidence in them around corners, dramatically reduced the amount of lift of oversteer I was getting with other brands, don't listen to all these idiots winging about how bad these are in the wet, you'd have to be insane to drive fast in the wet on the streets, on a track in the wet these were fine, obviously not as good as if it were dry but come on, you drive slower in the wet, people make it out like they are undriveable in wet which simply isn't true the tyre seems to get rid of water very quickly and ive never had aquaplaning issues and ive driven in some proper downfalls, overall I would give these a 9.5 :) many thanks MD of yokohoma ;)

As alot of people say great dry tyre, not brilliant at all in the wet. I moved my Bridgestone Potenza re050a's to the front and put these on the back and in the wet I can feel the arse of my car slide out, so, not advisable to be gunning it in the wet. For price they are great, there's not alot of other tyres for £100 a shot that will give you the quality these do, for affordability I am going to replace my fronts with these and go Parada Spec all round for a bit to see what all 4 tyres the same are like together.

Very good in the dry you can make them squeal but they stay planted in the wet very dodgy very easy to just break away

The finest tyres for an MX5you can buy for the money 43 ea from demon tweeks, dont waste your money on Federal RSR`s
