Driving on mostly motorways for 15,000 average miles
Just got to try something else. I feek like I am forever buying new front tyres - getting max 15,000 miles without careful driving and not throwing the car around. I remember Michelins in the past seemed to last an age, so will try them even though generally more expensive.

Given 78% (breakdown) while driving a Saab Automobile Vector Sport Estste 175bhp (225-45-17-)
Driving on a combination of roads for 30,000 spirited miles
On my vehicle this seems to be a great all rounder. I know this is classified as a summer tyre. However I drove perfectly fine throughout the bad snow of last winter without any noticable difficulties.

I briefly switched to Avon ZV5s which were appalling in comparison, replaced them within 2 weeks.

Are there any better tyres out there for a saab 9-5 estate ? I'm reluctant to even bother trying to find out as I'm very happy with Continental Sports Contact 3's. Although may try the 5's next.

Driving on a combination of roads for 11,000 spirited miles
Very balanced tyre very good dry grip, extremely good wet grip, very good under hard braking, wears quickly 11,000miles (pushed hard). Fully recommend as all round tyre and great for wet dry track days due to the progressive feel and great feedback.

Driving on mostly country roads for 10,000 spirited miles
good tyre but there's got to be better value for money. They perform well, but having just put some falken 912's on, I've realised how noisy they were! Still, close to legal limit on an incredibly wet journey home, they still didn't aeroplane. Very grippy under heavy cornering and wear has been very even.

Given 76% (breakdown) while driving a Volkswagen Jetta 1.4TSi 170Sport (225-45-17-)
Driving on mostly country roads for 20,000 average miles
Very good tyre giving a confident and comfortable drive in wet or dry.
However, not getting more than 12000 miles from fronts. Original CSC2 gave me 22000miles on the front set.
