Replaced all four of the Michelin Energy Saver tyres on my gen 2 Toyota Prius. Chose them because there was a Goodyear discount going on, which saved me almost € 100 on 4 tyres. While the Michelin's lasted almost 80.000 km on the front and 95.000 km on the back, all 4 Goodyears were destroyed after 40.000 km with identical driving style. To me, none of the other scores matter if it has less than half the life in it. I didn't save € 100, but it cost me another set of tyres after just 1,5 years. Which of course went on to become Michelin's again.

bought them based on good reviews , to replace stock bridgestone er300 which were very loud . EGP were fantastic and gripped all the way down to 3 mil when they started a little bit of start off spin . much quieter then er300 ,
bit boaty on the soft sidewalls , and they can tear up of kerbs due to crap rim protection did 25k miles 40 km . prob would have got another 2 k miles out of them but had chance to change ( back to the orig er300 ) but once these are gone its back to EGP . suits a smaller car , not sure if a bigger car can work on them .
but for a small car , a damn great tyre.

A brilliant tyre sadly flawed. These tyres replaced a cheap set fitted before the car was purchased. They transformed the handling in the wet. With the old tyres the car would under-steer horrifically at the mere site of a puddle. The new ones allowed the car to corner as if on rails in the wet. It became a totally different car inspiring confidence in all conditions. Feed back was excellent and the ride was smooth and quiet. The downside was the wear. The rear tyres had to be changed with about 5mm of tread left as they had distorted so the surface resembled a 50p coin. Not only could vibration be felt coming up through the floor but you could see the distortion when the wheel was taken off. Then weird vibrations started coming from front. I had several independent examinations carried out, all the steering and suspension checked, wheels checked for balance, etc. Nothing wrong. Finally, the vibration was traced back to the tyres that distort and cause vibration when under certain load. The walls were found to be soft at the shoulder as if the tyre had been run flat and damaged the ply. New tyres, of a different make were fitted and now no vibration. They may suit some cars, possibly lighter ones, but I won't be buying any more until this issue has been cleared up which is a shame as when new they were brilliant.

I came from a set of Continental Ecocontact 5 tyres. The grip with these tyres is staggering. Although not a performance car by any stretch of the imagination I hold my IAM certificate and have done many driving courses over the years as I enjoy driving quickly but safely (and legally).

These tyres did return around 3-4mpg less than the Continentals and the road noise was a lot louder but it was worth it for the grip. These are the XL version which would have contributed to the slightly better handling having stiffer sidewalls.

I bought these tyres to replace the Pirellis on my Alfa Romeo Giulietta, even though the Pirellis were hardly worn. The difference is staggering. I have complete confidence in the Goodyears and they're a whole lot quieter and much more comfortable than Cinturato P7s too. Wet grip is brilliant and braking distances seem to be very much shorter. The only downside is that they appear to be a slightly softer compound than the Pirellis so they grip better but maybe won't be as long-lasting. I can live with that though as the Goodyears are clearly a much better all-round tyre. In short, they really suit the car. Living in a rural location, I have to depend on having sporty and reliable tyres. For that reason, I rate the Goodyears and will fit them again next time without question.

These tyres are simply superb. I don't quite have a full set (my left rear is some budget thing that I've never heard of - soon to be changed). But the other three tyres do a sterling job of keeping me out of trees, other people's houses, other people themselves and and the general ecosystem in which we all have to live and breathe. I do quite like to get a move on, even in the rain, and these tyres grip like there is no tomorrow. And even when they do let go, they seem to be very progressive, and I have plenty of time to look in the instruction manual to see how I should be addressing the situation. I did have one spin, in icy conditions, going round a right hander (where most of the load would be on the left tyres - see earlier comment), but even that is not enough to put me off these things. Not too expensive, quiet, seems to last (especially considering how I drive). And also quite tough. I feel very safe driving on these things. Can't really ask for more than that. Can't wait till I have a full set!

I drive them on my Golf MK5 only during summer time. 2.5 years old now.
Drove them for 27.000km and they are down from 8mm to 5.7mm tread. I do rotate them front and back regularly.
Cons:
-the only big downside is the road noise, which isn't on the table here and I can't score it in this review. The tyres are a bit noisy, especially on rough surface, you can hear them quite well inside the cabin.

Pros:
-The grip is tricky. Most of the time is phenomenal. Grips almost like a sport tyre, especially on curvy roads. But, on a very smooth surface the wheels spin easily when I floor the car in 2nd gear. But the tyre never left me down during spirited driving, I am confident it will stick in the next corner. The grip is still here, and its the same as when they were new.
-Build. Tyre is strong. Its not easy to damage it or bend it. It looks solid. No damage what so ever. After 27.000km it is still a great tyre, with 10-30 grams weights on the balancing machine, it feels like new.
-Wear is good. Most of my driveing is slow, around town with occasional wheel spin just for fun. My driving on open roads is spirited. The wear is only average, but you get a tyre that sticks to the road, not some plastic junk that will slide out of the corner. So I think average treadware is good compromise for great grip and handling.
-Comfort is average. Not too hard, not soft. Like most summer tyres.
-Stability on rain was great, except for this one time, when I got scary aquaplaning at 90kmh for 2 seconds. Now I don't feel so safe anymore :( Maybe its because they are down to 5.7mm.
-Resistance to roll. Economy. The tyre has extremely low resistance to roll. Much much lower than the my winter tyres.
-I don't think there is a better tyre for the money. I'd buy it again. Hope they can fix the noise problem. If they do, it will be the best tyre in its class.

Comfortable and quite tyres with very soft sidewalls. Average handling and feedback.

The tyres came as the standard fit on my fiat 500x. The car is on a company lease so I cannot ditch them. I live in Holland where it rains a lot, the asphalt is generally very smooth and the wet grip is below par for a premium branded tyre. Generally a mediocre tyre really if you were to buy them from your own hard earned money. Dry grip is okay but they don't inspire much confidence in cornering.
I would buy conti or michelin. Not recommended
