Compared to the premium brands this has been a very good tyre for the money so far.

When i bought car these tyres close to the limit, but got whole summer out of them and was surprised with the grip even that they was nearly bold, was still sticking to the road, i have dunlop sp 9000 now and there is still couple mm left on them but i all ready started felling kicking on the back, not as good as sp sport maxx, they one of the best from dunlop, i could say.

BMW 325 CI M SPORT CONVERTIBLE (E46). Had these tyres from new when i bought the car, covered 20,000 miles in them and have been fantastic. Dry grip is very responsive and sticks to the road, tons of hard cornering grip and breaking is solid. Wet just as good but you obviously don't drive as hard but still responsive and good feedback. Big down side is they wear badly in frost, snow and ice, very cold weather and these tyres dont work, very slippy and even if you traction control, its not going to work. This winter Dec 2010 i traveled along from Bicester to Aylesbury and alot of uphill driving and in the snow it was impossible, if using in snow and tyres have half way worn then they dont work. However this didnt justify me from buying winter tyres and it doesn't last that long here and i had tons of hard summer/spring driving which i love the car for and performance around that time from the tyres are excellent. One major thing that mad me but them again is obviously the grip in wet/dry buy also how the look, because they are a square shape tyre and look better once on the car - as you see a thin line of tyre and more of a block shape, I'm talking about what the tyre wall looks like and on the rims and car, where as alot of other tyre like the Michelin's that i thought about buing have a round edge tyre wall and feel it looks odd of the car. Overall i think there worth the money - all 4 tyres front 225/40/18 and Rear 255/35/18 from £600 including fitting.

Excellent all rounder. Don't listen to what you hear on forums. Half the people haven't even tried these tyres. I have them on the rear of my 2005 BMW 325ci Coupe. Dry grip is amazing, couldn't fault it... and actually the wet grip is pretty good too.. yes if you put your foot down you may loose some traction, but thats the same with any tyre. Infact i had Michelin Pilot Sport PS2's on the rear previously and the wet the same as the NS2's.
In terms of wear rate.. stunning. These tyres have done 10,000 miles and still have (approximately) 5mm left!
Just so you know, i've had Michelin PS2's, Bridgestone Potenza's and Continental Contisportcontact tyres in the past, all on BMW's and the Nankangs really are worth their price! I think they're made by Yokohama.. when i had my tyres fitted im sure they had some Yokohama stickers on.

Would not recommend these to anyone, noisey is not the word i would use they are shocking. that bad i have had them took off and replaced. never ever known a tyre so noisey, unaceptable. was told by the tyre suppliers that i would have to let them bed in, what a load of rubbish.
