can't believe how good these are, brilliant on the motorway, good in summer and almost AWD capacity in snow-ice-slush,business user 40 thousand a year.

I fitted these tyres in October 2011, after the large volume of snow that we had last winter. The tyres are sure footed and perform very well in both wet and dry conditions. Their performance in snow is good, giving much more confidence and grip than a summer tyre. That being said, I still experienced some wheel spin and loss of traction in deeper snow (over 10cm's deep), especially when trying to pull away from a standstill. As an all Season Tyre I would recommend them but will still keep my snow socks in the boot for deeper snow.

Given 90% (breakdown) while driving a Citroën berlingo (215-55-16-)
Driving on mostly country roads for 2,500 average miles
I bought four Quadraxer's a week before last Christmas, basically because they were the only winter tyres I could get hold of at the time.
The Michelin Primacy's fitted to my Berlingo XTR were absolute rubbish in the snow and ice that we were all suffering with at the time,in fact the Michelin's were downright dangerous,no grip, poor steering and poor braking.
The moment I drove away from the tyre dealer I noticed the diffrence, the car felt more sure footed and safer.
Throughout the following winter months they performed extremely well, and I had no problems at all, even in 8-10ins. of snow, they just gripped and bit in.

Although the Quadraxer's are an all season tyre,I put the Michelin's back on for the summer,as they had plenty of life in them, but the Michelin's are much more noisier than the Quadraxer's.
I would buy these tyres again and certainly reccomend the Quadraxer,I fitted all four, not just on the drive axle, which I think gives even better performance.

Driving on mostly motorways for 2,000 average miles
Unfortunately, I only had them on the car for a couple of thousand miles before selling the car recently, so cannot comment on their winter and snow credentials.

In autumunal weather - warm days, cool days, wet and dry, they performed very well for a compromise tyre. Their strength was in the wet! They are able to evacuate so much water that it makes quite a racket with water hitting the wheel arch liner. Car is very planted. In the dry, they are fine, even if pushed.

When brand new, need to give them a couple of hundred miles to bed in. The handling to begin with feels woolly but they get better with miles. Take this into account when braking.

I will definately reconsider this tyre in the future.

Driving on a combination of roads for 2,000 average miles
I replaced my standard Primacy tyres on the front of my front wheel drive, and the difference was noticable immediately. The car simply felt more sure footed straight away. I have now covered about 2,000 miles with them, and could not be more pleased. Day to day driving is more involving. The tyres give the impression of being a bit 'sticky' and in both wet and dry conditions are a vast improvement over the standard summer biased tyres. I have yet to try them in snow or ice, but I have no doubt they will prove to be effective. I have not noticed any difference in braking distance, although my impression is that accelaration times may be down a bit, not that that bothers me. I will be replacing the rear tyres with them before winter sets in.

Driving on a combination of roads for 14,000 spirited miles
Purchased a pair of these tyres in December 2010 whilst in Scotland commuting between Girvan (Ayrshire) and Manchester.
Have since driven through various amounts of snow up to 3" deep, ice, slush, standing water, heavy rain and dry roads up till June 2011 when summer tyres eventually fitted.
Have found them excellent in all conditions, giving increased confidence. On black ice I had the back tyres loose grip but the Quadraxer tyres stuck like glue!
On compressed snow I acheived a 1:6 hill re-start without problems.
Fuel consumption has been excellent throughout and tyre wear is equally good. I was almost tempted to leave these on all year because of their performance in heavy rain/standing water, but they were slightly noisier than standard tyres.
They will definitely go back on this winter.

Driving on a combination of roads for 0 spirited miles
Golf GTI Mark VI, had these tyres on my car from late November 2010 until March 2011. It did take a short while to acclimatise to the different 'characteristics' of the winter tyres when first fitted.
Much better grip in snow, ice and slush than the factory fitted summer tyres. I purchased these tyres as premium brands(Michelin & other makes)were not available in my tyre size.
I contacted Michelin for advice re obtaining their premium brand winter tyres & the fitting of winter tyres to my car given that the factory fitted tyres were Michelin Primacy HP, they recomended the Quadraxer for winter use as the Primacy are in fact summer tyres.
I have been very very pleased with the Quadraxa performance and grip during the winter months, especially in snow and ice. Will change over to the Quadraxer tyres again late November for the winter.
Not sure re wear as too soon to tell, also not sure how many miles I covered during winter spell with the Quadraxers, I did make a number of journeys to the Scottish borders from Lancashire and did not get stuck!

Driving on a combination of roads for 2,000 average miles
I bought these tyres out of desperation last winter when I could not find any winter tyres available anywhere for love nor money. I had the tyres fitted to the front axle for traction and from the outset I could feel a distinct difference between these and the previously fitted summer tyres. During the first 200 miles or so of moderate driving the car felt stable and made steady progress in light snow covered roads, slush and ice. Once the snow and ice had disappeared the tyres performed well in the wet and dry with good braking traction. They needed about 400 miles or so to bed in to provide what I would describe as a comfortable and positive drive and have performed well for the last 1500 miles on all road surfaces during the colder temperatures. My only disappointment has been their road handling and traction on wet roads whilst negotiating roundabouts for which reason I mark them down on progression and wet grip. The sidewall profile and flexibility of the tyre leads to a rolling sensation and slight loss of traction in the steering. I would not use these tyres all year and will look to fit summer tyres now that the warmer weather is coming and for more spirited driving. As a last resort purchase during the winter they have served well and are highly recommended for sensible driving during cold weather snow and ice and I will happily refit them next winter to see me through the worst of the weather. Not enough miles done to assess their wear but they appear to be lasting well. As with all tyres, the correct tyre pressure is a must have to get the best out of these tyres. Not the most aesthetically pleasing tyre to look at with a plethora of information imprinted on the sidewall.

One word - Brilliant!

These Kleber Quadraxer's are made by Michelin and so you're getting excellent quality 'brand name' tyres under a budget name at budget price!

I wanted tyres to help in the snow/heavy rain/slush and these all season tyres seemed to be the answer. They are a million times better in the wet than my old tyres (Bravius), it feels like driving in the dry even when it's wet.

The tread is nice and chunky, so if (WHEN!) the snow arrives again, they should also give a bit more traction than before.

Overall these are excellent all-season tyres for the price (£68 each at Event tyres) and I would highly recommend them to anyone!
