Forget the OEM spec conti sport contacts these are alot cheaper and alot better. I used to feel that the conti's were good in snow and rain however on bends they would feel like they contributed to bodyroll with soft side walls. Vreds are awesome for the more sport orientated driver.

Replaced Goodyear F1 Asymmetrics with these. Against the F1 they are slightly quieter, wet traction is slightly worse, everything else on a par. This is a huge complement because I really rate the F1s and on balance these are equals at 60% of the cost

Having bought a used BMW525d with Pirrelli run flats I was at the point of selling the car due to the awful comfort/ride experience. The Vredesteins have made a HUGE difference to the ride experience. Only issue is that I have no spare only a can to trust if I get a blowout. BMW should be hugely embarrassed by this, as I would never buy a new BMW with Run flats.

I absolutely love these tyres, immense grip in dry & wet after the break in period which was around 750miles for me, stiff side walls which don't feel like there going to roll off the rim like the standard conti sc2's did round corners (RARB Helps). Can't say as iv'e ever noticed any road noise but thats prob down to the Remus Exaust. Road feedback can't fault either. The only minus that I can give these is the wear rate, mixed driving of fast road and slow town driving, looking at around 7k-11k from powerfull FWD cars but a lot better than toyo's. These also cut the snow we had in 2010 like butter which being a summer tyre was very very impressive. Havn't ever fitted them to the rears but imagine an easy 20k-25k would be achievable, soon as my conti's have worn out, the vredy's are going straight on the back. Not even going to consider ps2's or eagle f1's for twice the price for minimal + results. But the vredy's are catching on now and are slowly creeping up in price.

Driving on a combination of roads for 8,000 average miles
I had terrible cheapo tyres on my car from when i purchased the car and grip levels in all conditions where terrible as soon as I fitted the Vredestein, what a transformation, in the dry excellent, in the wet amazing and having done now 8k miles the tyres still look like new! I have noticed a little more noise at speed, very high speed but other than that are amazing, would definitely buy again, found an outlet that fitted them for £400, oh and dont forget you get an unlimited warranty with them.....
