Has these rubbish tyres fitted when I bought the car from new. Utterly rubbish after the car was just 1 month old. The rubber was hard which is terrible on bumpy ruads. Loud tyre roar at any road even on motorways. Girp is poor even at dry roads. Extremely spilly at wet. I'm glad these are no longer in production and is to be avoided at any cost. I can't believe Bridgestones are under a premium brand on this site as they should be under midrange. Switched to Pirelli P7s on all 4 corvers and completely transformed the car.

I had no problems with these tyres and are well impressed with the wear on them because i had bridgestone potenza sport tyres on before these and they only did 10000 miles but they have got less grip

Very good tyre I would say. Nothing bad to say about it except a bit pricey. I quite like Bridgestones. Had the Potenza on my beamer and they was great too. Highly recommended.

Excellent wear characteristics:
60K on Front
100k on Rear
for 2 successive Sets of Tyres.
Shame they are no longer available. Will try ER300's .Hopefully these will be as good.

Like many others I bought a new car and didn't have a choice about which tyres were fitted. I was told by the sales person that the Turanza were an excellent tyre, but had my doubts from the first time I took the car out in the wet. The car tracked badly and especially on white lines or in areas where there were slight differences between the road surface on the nearside compared to that on the offside. Initially I thought there was a problem with the car, so I had it thoroughly checked out by the Main Dealer and also at an independent garage. Both confirmed that the car was fine and that the problem that I was complaining of, was most probably a tyre related effect. The situation got worse in the winter; I couldn't tell whether or not I was losing grip or simply tracking. On a dry road the tracking effect seemed less pronounced, but in wet or icy conditions it was absolutely terrifying at times. I am now searching for a tyre that doesn't suffer from these problems - I'm changing the tyres as soon as I can, even though there is enough tread left for several thousand miles. Another reason for my desire to change the tyres is that they are probably the most noisy tyres I've ever heard. On the plus side the wear appears to be good, but actually I have been hoping that they'd wear down more quickly, because I'm desperate to change them!

Fronts were replaced after @ 24,000 miles with the newer ER300. The rears are still going stong after 40,000 miles and several years. My ER300s are needing replacing after 20,000 miles. The 30's look neat and possibly less bulbous than the ER300s, though that might be an illusion. Mine were made in Japan, the ER300's in Poland. There seems little difference between the 30 and 300 in handling, and I do wonder whether the 30 may have been better in snow and possibly a harder-wearing rubber, but I would have to have that confirmed by the experts. Overall, I liked these tyres.
Now debating what to put on the fronts.
