I bought these tyres for 3 cars (Peugeot 306 HDI, Citroen Zara D, and Fabia 1.4TDI) in the family over the past 3 winters in Scotland when supplies of winter tyres were not available. Whilst they are classed as summer tyres they grip very well in soft or compacted snow......we live up a 1in6 hill which does not get cleared by snow ploughs very quickly after a fall and normal summer tyres provided impossible to get the car up the hill, T-Trac have never failed even in 150-200mm. of snow. They are better on ice than standard summer tyres but not as good as pure winter tyres.

Pirelli P5000 - designed as a wet wheather tyre i was impressed with the dry grip available with good feed back.very reassuring in the wet particularly very wet situations where they dispersed the water very efficiently.Perhaps not as quiet as the Contis previously fitted but an excellent allrounder!

Very little road noise. Excellent wet and dry grip but noticeable reduction in fuel economy. Also vague steering compared to other brands I have tried. Ok for a standard car but unsuitable for the more aggressive driver. Its odd but you have to turn the wheel further for the same affect as any other tyre I have tried. They work well on the rear of my Fwd Greenline Fabia but I wouldnt recommend for front wheels on a Fwd vehicle.

These were fitted to car when new. I have only driven 13,000 and the front tyres need replacing, the worst tyres for wear I have ever had. They are good in the dry and OK in the wet, seem quiet. Apart from wear the other main problem is tramlining. They are expensive to buy esp in this size 195/55/15H, will try Uniroyale Rayalle 550 next, the Rainsports are not available in this size.

Tyre work perfectly ok! happy with grip in both wet and dry conditions.
Useless in snow and ice, but luckily we don't get much of that.
My main problem with thes tyres is the wear rate, they have only 2mm left after just 15000miles on the front, rears are fine.
I must admit they do look the part on my alloys.

These tyres came as standard fitment. In snow & ice they are hopeless.
I am not overimpressed with their summer performance either.
I have covered 15k miles, not mostly urban and A roads, the fronts are virtually down to the wear bars.
