Could not handle deep snow. Excellent on ice light snow. The best wet weather tyres I have had. done 26k so far and still got 3 millitres left

These tyres are so good I would be happy to use them all year round, however, I do notice that they are softer than my summmer Continental's when the temperature gets to about +10C and above. In snow they are almost magical - used both here in the UK and the Alps, both in hard pack or fluffy soft snow. Have overtaken 4x4's on hills were they where sliding sideways on their stock M&S tyres in my hilly area many times, much to my amusement - but it is when going downhill on treacherous roads where the safety of these tyres is evident. I can stop easily when others keep going in a slide.
These are just as quiet as my summer tyres, and actually quieter on rough motorway sections. Wear rate so far seems to be excellent - on my second winter on them with trips to the alps and still look like new. If I didn't have a second set of wheels, I would be happy to run them all year round as numerous people that I know already do.

Driving on a combination of roads for 150 spirited miles
I've mainly used these since swapping out the original fit eight years ago. I've never failed to be impressed by dry/wet grip, but it deteriorates significantly as wear increases. Wet-weather pull-away is superb, no hydroplaning at high speed in extreme conditions, and superb grip and stability under heavy braking in all conditions. High-speed fast directional change can feel sloppy at times.
These V-groove directional tyres seem to work well on this car, better than original fit Continentals and one set of Goodyear Eagle Excellence (didn't suit my driving style, or the car). Had to swap the rears out for Goodyear F1 Asymmetrical, after sidewall damage, and they span far more on pull-away in the wet, and wore quicker.
Naturally, the downside is high wear rates, more noise, and don't even think about taking a heavy, automatic, RWD car out on these in snow or ice! Get some cheap second-hand wheels and fit with winter tyres instead.
Overall, there're fantastic performance tyres. I'd definitely use these again, but the size range has become very, very limited and they are no longer available in this size. As I didn't like the newer F1 Asymmetrical, Goodyear has lost me as a customer after nine years of loyalty.

Driving on a combination of roads for 10000 easy going miles
Very fast wearing on the rear of my Mercedes-Benz E320 CDI. Previous tyres were Goodyear Eagle NCT5 and lasted 30,000 miles. These Kumho tyres are down to 3mm after just 10,000 miles and for that represent poor value for money, especially as I'm a fairly gentle driver, enjoying full throttle only very occasionally.

I went for these after Goodyear stopped producing my favourite FI GSD3's in this size - They were recommended by the tyre shop.
They just didn't work for my car, or my driving style. I always felt they were jittery, and feeding back every small road imperfection. I also experienced "thrumming" noises at high speed. I had them rebalanced twice to no avail - the shop said they were perfect.
Grip and wear was adequate but not up to spirited driving, especially in the wet. Eventually, I couldn't live with the steering feedback and noise, bought some new alloys, and swapped back to 235/45 17" GSD3's - until Goodyear stopped them in that size too! They obviously didn't want me as a customer!

Driving on a combination of roads for 4000 spirited miles
Bought the car off a friend who put 4 of these on because they were cheap and he was selling the car. They are leathal in the wet lost the back end afew times on roads i no well and even going around roundabouts at slow speeds the back end was twitchy. Traction control always comming on pulling away in the wet at junctions.(doesnt happen now got bridgestones on).
