Had these recommended by my local dealer but had concerns as relatively unknown and I was off to the Nurburgring. These exceeded my best expectations amazing grip and feel in the dry. Did manage to get them to slide once when changing direction mid corner at 70 mph but totally predictable. A little opposite lock and back to full grip again, then blast away for more fun. Unable to comment on wet use or wear yet but will when appropriate.
Don't be put off by the fact that these are not a premium brand. A graet tyre so far.

I guess the tyre's haven't even worn themselves in but even at this early stage, I'm really impressed. I'm a big fan of the traffic-light grand prix and so FWD + 200whp+ means lots of wheel spin, yet the tyre hasn't worn down much at all and it grips very well, even at a lofty 35psi.

Very confidence inspiring on the country roads at speed and even on a track, the car went down the the predictable path of understeering, rather than snapping the back end out, which is impressive because the rear of my is totally stripped out so there isn't much weight over the rear tyres.

All in all, a very good tyre that keeps it's manners in the wet also. What you pay for in price over the T1-R tyre, you will reap back with better quality and certainly tyre wear :)

First proper performance tyre i've bought.... definately money well spent. The difference was like night and day especially in the wet. Understeer was greatly reduced when pushing it around corners. Just bought them again for the impreza sti

Driving on a combination of roads for 100 spirited miles
Only done 100 miles on these tyres but they are a big improvement on my last set, which were Nexen N3000's which were worn and starting to lose grip on bends. Driving now brings a smile to my face, thanks to the FK452's! A bargain of a tyre,(£289.70 for 4 delivered from Camskill.co.uk ordered them at 7.20 Wednesday nite and they arrived at 11.45 on Friday!) and made in Japan too. I had a local garage fit them for me for £12.00 a tyre. They seem slightly noisier but its a fair trade off for the extra grip. The side walls seem stiffer than the Nexen's but give a more comfotable ride. Even the wife likes them!! They look great too. I decided on these after reading the reviews on here and honestly speaking, for the price they are a phenominal tyre. Put some on your car and put a smile on your face too! Thanks Falken.

Writing about the Pirelli PZero Nero given 77% (225-45-17-)
Driving on mostly country roads for 1000 average miles
I have had these tyres on for about 1K miles now. They have significantly better wet weather grip than the Pirelli Asymetrics I had on before. They turn in well but perhaps not quite as well as the asymetrics.

I have already noticed they like to be run at high pressure as they didn't feel right till I increase the pressure to the max rating for the car. (38 PSI normal is 32PSI)

They do seem to be a bit more noisy that the asymetrics but not that significant.

Car feels very stable and predicatable on these tyres the inspire confidence.

Can't really comment on life yet.

Dry: Dry grip is good but IMHO it could be better. Very progressive feel when losing grip and warns via very loud squeals and screech's when it's on the limit. GSD3 seems to like to wander around on less well paved surfaces. Dry braking performance is very good and gives good confidence. Performs at its peak after running in on an average of 1000 KM. Setting lower air pressures gives it a more comfortable ride but out in an extra 5 psi or so the sidewall firms up and tyre scrubbing is reduced drastically. Grip goes up exponentially but noise and discomfort goes up as well.

Wet: Exceptional wet performance. Confident inspiring even on the wettest days or nights. Grip is phenomenal and is able to claw you out of tight spots when you get into them. Great feel as well when its at the limit and very progressive.

Do note that alignment really affects the performance of the tyres substantially. Experimented with running camber settings between -1.5 Front and -0.5 Rear and -1 Front and -0.2 Rear and found that straight line wet performance suffers on the former. The "V" operates more efficiently in channeling water when it is as flat as possible. Car now permanently runs on -1 Front and -0.2 Rear camber setting.

After 15,000KM of hard driving tyres has worn down to 50% Front and 70% Rear. Rotation is promptly done and now after another 17,000km the tyres are worn down to 50% Front 50% Rear. I go through tyres fairly quickly due to my weekend drives up (and down) the northern Malaysian mountains and they go through A LOT of abuse. They hold up very well and I still remain impressed with its wet weather performance. Will purchase them again after experimenting with other tyres.

Just purchased a Celica 190 with these fitted on rear, reasonable fun in the dry with some slippage allowing fun on roundabouts etc. However absolutely awful in the wet. Breaking away even when driven sensibly. Although lots of tread left, will be booking in for new tyres to replace these. Not for any performance vehicle, but might be ok on my girlfriends Golf diesel with 90 bhp, but would not pay for them.

These are without doubt the worst tyres I have ever experienced at pretty much any price point. They make an otherwise dynamic car into a what feels like driving a bus on ice in damp/wet conditions.

The grip in the dry is actually OK and the tread wear is amazing, I could imagine these would last much longer than premium tyres, the incredibly hard compound has such a low level of wet grip that they cannot be recommended in any way.

Living in the UK though means anything less than a completely dry road with an ambient temperature into the teens and you have almost comical traction and grip, it is virtually non-existent.

I could not recommend these tyres in anyway as the day you do require a fast direction change or braking they WILL let you down.

Garages and even private sellers looking to save a few pounds put this sort of rubbish on to save money before a sale, if you see them on any car you are looking to buy demand a discount or replacement.

I wasn't aware how bad they were when I purchased the car and they have now been replaced.
