Driving on a combination of roads for 7000 spirited miles
Hands down best tyre I've ever used. Bridgestone Potenza S-03s were struggling after I got my car remapped ^_^ but these babies are outstanding. Grip and traction are phenomenal in wet and dry, and when they are finally approaching their limit they let you know. Sublime. Hope they keep making them cos I'd buy them forever.

Writing about the Uniroyal Rainsport 2 given 100% (225-40-18-W)
Driving on mostly country roads for 12000 spirited miles
Had pirelli rosso on the front, poor grip especially in the wet. Researched on this website and decided on the Rainsport 2 - Fantastic, please God let them make them forever. Changed them last year in the snow and ice in North Yorkshire, superb traction in the snow and in the wet, they give you so much confidence. The biggest difference was pulling away from a standstill in the wet, no wheel spin, amazed, the pirelli's would spin up so easy, was considering getting rid of my car. Car has been re mapped, so got in excess of 250 bhp, doesn't phase the Rainsport 2's, so impressed, cut through standing water so effortlessly, now look for the puddles for fun!! Great tyre, defo recommend for the hot hatch in the wet UK.

Driving on mostly motorways for 20000 spirited miles
Got a set of these a year ago and have managed 20k on them with a rotation after 6 months. Dry grip is amazing & wet grip is very good. The tread on this tyre looks good and is excellent for displacing water at high speeds. I haven't tried any of the premium brands that cost twice as much as a Hankook but for a mid range performance tyre, you can't go wrong. The tyres can easily handle 200+BHP & 20k miles is impressive for any performance tyre. Also handles snow surprisingly well. Approaching the legal limit on tread now but still performing well, time to get another set of 4!

Outstanding tyre, especially in the wet. Not a bad price either for a premium tyre - around ?150. Recommended!

Awesome grip on the dry stuff. Bombproof in the wet, it's just spooky how these tyres stick! Totally impressed so far, despite the price!

In the snow of Jan/Feb 2010 my car on 18in Continentals, my car was downright scary. Did the research, bought Audi A3 alloys for my car and VW steels(£30 for four new!)for my wifes Octavia. The difference in the current bad weather has been amazing. We are able to get to work with ease and feel really confident on the road. The VRS pulls away on snow with no wheel spin and without troubling the traction control, braking is similarly drama free. Have bored everyone with my "expert" advice, most have never heard of winter tyres. Will never be without in future.

These tyres are fantastic.
In the dry on the limit they do start to feel a little a soft in the sidewall and the grip levels are very progressive even past the limit.
In the wet i personally feel that they are unstoppable. I have a big, powerful, diesel lump up the front of the car and these tyres manage the weight on wet roads without even so much of a wobble.

Drove from Bristol to Buxton in Dec 2010 where there was 4inches of snow on the roads, and not once did these let me down. They are far superior to the pirelli P Zero Nero i had before, quiter and a lot cheaper than the contisport contacts 2's & 3's.

Would i buy them again - Definately. I am on my third set on the front and second on the rear and will keep buying them as the car feels stable, planted and responsive.

Rolling resistance is pretty good and road noise is no worse than the others listed above. They are also well priced
