Outstanding tyre, especially in the wet. Not a bad price either for a premium tyre - around £150. Recommended!

Awesome grip on the dry stuff. Bombproof in the wet, it's just spooky how these tyres stick! Totally impressed so far, despite the price!

No longer standard issue on Octavia vRS - why? Struggling to find at reasonable cost now - no looking for alternatives!

Excellent grip on snow and ice, good control with FWD and 200 BHP even without ESP/ASR in use. Responds well on wet surfaces. Braking on dry surfaces (and above 7 degrees celzius) a little bit longer then with summer tires. Deffinetly top 5 winter tire.

This is the best Tyre i have ever used on this car without doubt. I was unaware that a tyre could make this much difference and i have used expensive rubber previously. I hope they will last longer than my last set of fronts which only lasted 9000 miles. These are real Value for money and will transform your vehicle.

I bought these to replace the ContiSportContact3 tyres on the front of my Octavia. I must say I was sceptical as they were half the price of the Contis, however, my scepticism was soon short-lived. Others had advised me to take it easy for the first 2-300 miles, so once I passed that threshold I could test them more thoroughly. In the dry they are as good as the Contis - sure-footed and grippy in the fast sweeping bends. In the wet, they're not quite as good as the Contis, but there's still plenty of grip and plenty of warning when you overstep the mark, usually in the form of very slight, gentle understeer. They seem a lot quieter than the tyres they replaced, but that could be because the last set were down to the markers! Overall, they seem comfortable and grippy, and all at a great price. I would certainly buy them again, although for an extra £20 per tyre, if I feeling flush I might try the Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta, as I've only heard good things about them too.

Very good driving tyres - stick like the proverbial poo to a blanket - and very good in the wet as well. Not sure if it will be common problem for me with any tyre, but the front wheel drive diesel vRS has serious problems with wheel spin at take off and I have chewed these tyres out in only 16,000 miles (26,000ks) which is disappointing really. Every company car I had previously got at least 40,000ks out of a set! The other major problem with these tyres is the road noise - lucky for me I listen to the stereo REALLY loud which drowns out the drone!! Hard ride, you can really feel the grip, great for very windy roads (even when pushing real hard) and really made the vRS Octavia FLY in tight sections (typical of New Zealand roads).
