Replacing Falkens these were an expensive but well worth while purchase with new boots all round 3 years ago. Grip in dry excellent, v.good in rain. Biggest change was on the car which became much quieter, smoother ride, improved mpg and more FUN particularly in dry weather when tyres have warmed up.
134bhp petrol 98-03 Honda Accord, manual box, light loads mostly 1 passeneger on commutes, first 5k miles saw spirited driving in summer, when these tyres are warm in dry weather they stick very well. Remaining 11k miles over last 2+ years has been mixed use and more sedate. Times up on them and a tough decision what to do as pennies are tight. I would recommend despite the wear.

Currently only on the rear wheels, so some of the above points are guesstimates based on how the back end feels (with a front wheel drive car).
Compared to the well worn out Michelins that were on it when I picked it up, the back feels more connected and will probably rotate these to the front when I change them for Falken FK-452s.
That way I'll be able to report on the similarity/difference with the Falkens on the rear, and how the Toyo T1-Rs are at the driving end.
Some cite the soft sidewall (relatively speaking) as a detractor for the T1-Rs - I guess we'll see if that's true or not once they go on the front.
I highly recommend them, and if it weren't for the FK-452s, I'd simply have stuck a set of T1-Rs on the front and been done with it - but it's worth experiencing and experimenting to help myself and others sort the wheat from the chaff.

Replacing the Vredestein Sessantas that were on before, and reviewed here, the FK452's felt brilliant from the off on the front, albeit slightly more noisy, I think - I wouldn't stake my life on it!
Nevertheless, compared to the Sessantas, the FK452's seem a much better tyre in all conditions, more noticeably in the damp greasy conditions with a lot of steering input.
High marks all round for them, but not quite the star performer for me - that, after having rotated them to the back, and brought the Toyo T1-R's to the front for the first time, has to go to them. Absolutely excellent tyres, and have not put a foot wrong in any weather condition - recent icy underfoot days included.
That said, with the Falkens on the rear, there's no complaints there, and as much as the Toyos are better, if I was only able to get the FK452's (price/availability/etc) I'd be quite happy with that situation.

The Yokohama Advan V103 is more superior to my old Michelin Pilot Sport 2! period! It grips equally well in the dry and almost as good in heavy rain. (I skidded twice before on my Michelin PS 2. Fortunately the DSC and ESP saved the day) It corners just as well as the Michelin PS 2. The bonus part is the Yokohama v103 run much quieter than the Michelin PS 2!!! Ride is more softer too making this tyre an excellent everyday tyre to use and the occasional spirited weekends when necessary. This is one fabulous safe tyre at any cost for the whole family.

One of the best tyres that I have ever had. Grip & feedback is excellent.
The first set on my car lasted 19000 miles which is OK for wear I suppose.
I believe these tyres are supposed to be made to be quiet-that's what the dB is for. I didn't actually think that they were that quiet. I had goodyears on for a very short time & they were quieter. However, this doesn't bother me-I just want them to grip & this is what they do.
They're not the cheapest or easiest to get hold of, but I'll be sticking with them in future.

Bought these tyres as an economy performance tyre for a 2001 Accord. The newer Accords have bigger rims and would probably fit the higher ranged Rainsport 2 from Uniroyal.
Thus far I am very impressed with both wet and dry grip. The tyre might be a bit softer than other ones I've had which leads to a very slightly "bouncy" ride. However the feedback is excellent, and I always can tell where the tyres are and how they're gripping. It's too early to tell about wear, but they look like they'll wear average.
Overall these are an excellent budget performance tyre, buying these online was well cheap, driving on them is a hoot and I would definitely buy again.
